Nguyen is the most common Vietnamese surname, but people pronounce it in a lot of ways. This was also a running joke in Bojack Horseman (one character's name is Diane Nguyen). And Kim's bangs are a crime agains my eyes. It's like someone tried to give her one of those goth/alternative hairstyles with extra short bangs and failed miserably. :( Love her blue eyebrows, though. But I wish she was more into goth/punk/whatever aesthetic, or at least had some boots and fishnet stockings - she's cute, but a bit boring compared to other dolls. Also, Jett's machine has golden details, not silver. That's a huge difference. XD

My main issue with Rainbow High dropping the second outfit is that they're still being sold at the same price. It was understandable for a higher price point bc we got so much with each doll, but to get boring outfits, fewer accessories, and weird, inconsistent quality with the hair and bangs.. I just feel they should be cheaper now.

I just opened my Roxie Grand it sure did take a while though. Going to a fabric store to see about either getting a boa or fur stole for her. This doll would make a good candidate for a short bob she's also quite versatile she would look good in anything.

I washed my dolls hair and fixed her bangs. I used bedhead hair manipulator gel which will leave it hard yet will hold in place. I hope you can fix your doll because once you get her bangs to lay down she is stunning.

It doesn't bother me that she's missing the bells and whistles. It's pretty easy to pluck the bangs then bring hair from the part forward to be trimmed. I think if she'd gotten cooler shoes, she would look better and something around her neck - a bandana or some red beads. Anyway, I'm glad she's in my collection and I'm glad I found your channel.

I washed her hair with Bath and Body Works soap and it looks so much better. My Kim’s hair was so gelled that it felt like a rock. You can use moose to flatten the bangs.

Kim is my favorite RH Series 5 doll, but Glitch from SH Series 2 is a higher priority for me to get. I also don't really like the denim outfit, so if I get Kim, I am restyling her outfit ASAP and using her as more of a base doll, because I love her hair colors and makeup. I will also try to get her in person just to make sure that I get one with good makeup and bangs as well. With how good Veronica's curled bangs on her doll are, why does MGA keep on going back to the choppy straight bangs on every other RH/SH doll with bangs? For a doll company that does the clothes so perfectly, why can't MGA just get the straight bangs right?

Ikr!? Veronica's bangs were perfect. It makes no sense. Also, glitch is a great choice. I keep all of my RH and SH dolls displayed on the same wall together, and Glitch always draws my attention out of the whole bunch for some reason.

It makes me sad to look at my older collector Barbies and their details and look at Barbie now. These dolls are the best for the price point. But if money was no object I would collect Intergrity Toys and collector Barbie from the early 2000s.

I stopped collecting after they stopped doing original characters. I wasn’t into Living Dead Dolls for Scooby Doo. As a result of them only doing “licensed characters” now, we haven’t had a proper series in years. =(

The jacket is fabulous. It reminds me of Dr. Romanelli's Nike jackets. He makes these hybrid jackets. .. some are leather and denim, leather and cotton, leather and nylon. REALLY cool jackets that i have been drooling over since 2004, but they are mad expensive.

MGA doesn’t seem to know how to root full bangs. The bangs they do for RH, Bratz and some OMG dolls are atrocious. A good example of a well executed fringe is Mattel’s G3 Draculaura.
