Could you guys talk to Jeff Zaninni? He's the manager of many different voice over artists and the host of the convention series Twisted Toons. I think that it would be cool to see him discuss how he got into the business and what he does for the voice over artist community. Plus, he might be able to help you two figure out which impressions and actor voice matches you could potentially do. This is just a suggestion. I've been enjoying the podcast so far. Excellent content.

Also, could you get more anime voice actors like Christopher Sabet, Bryce Papenbrook, or Colleen Clinkenbeard? That would be awesome. Obviously John DiMaggio would be a great guest for the Podcast given your history working alongside him

@@anar8343 I see it as people having obligations to other projects and can't travel to wherever their studio is at a moments notice to do the podcast. That and travel restrictions still being what they are, but also the guest being comfortable is what's important. Go back to the interview with Andrea Romano and she says plainly that she is absolutely in favor of doing a podcast via Webcam instead of in person since she's still not comfortable in a face to face environment. And while I love a more intimate, face to face encounter with guests. I don't mind if it's on a video call as long as they can set down with their guests and have a conversation in some capacity. That's my viewpoint on it. I know you may disagree, buy try to see the bigger picture. People just have stuff going on, but if they're willing to do the podcast, that's all that matters. Still entertaining

Phil is one of those voice actors who's been in absolutely everything! Talk about being the voice of my childhood. Being on shows like Static, Foster's Home For Imagary Friends, Justice League, Evil Con Carne, Samurai Jack, Futurama, Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Ozzy & Drix! What an absolute legend. Like how Will talks about Kevin Conroy being the only Batman in his mind. For me, Phil LaMarr IS Green Lantern/John Stewart! Like no one could ever play him and be NEARLY as good doing it. What an absolute pleasure and blessing to have a sit down conversation with such an Icon of the Industry! 🙏

Watching this was fun. I couldn't help but cite that Static Shock crossover with Batman Beyond. (I know that Will Friedle and Phil LaMarr know this moment). Terry/Future Batman: First, we don’t have guests…and second, I’M Batman Virgil/Static: And I’M Beyoncé. Terry/Future Batman: Well, whoever you are, you don’t belong here. [Terry throws a few Batarangs but Virgil dodges them]. Virgil/Static: Getting sloppy. [Terry throws one at a stalactite which explodes causing fragments to fall on Virgil knocking him to the ground]. Terry/Future Batman: (in a mocking tone) Sloppy, huh?

Great episode! Will and Christy you both rock! I'm 36, so grew up watching your work. Glad you are doing this. Always have respect for voice acting. Justice League was a great cartoon and still my favorite team-up cartoon. Phil is an amazing voice actor and kind person. I'm a big john Stewart green lantern before the cartoon. Phil did an amazing job with the green lantern, and so much more. I'm an indie horror comic artist/ writer, but always loved the idea of voice acting. I can't wait to listen to more episodes.

How are you feeling about young justice? 🤔 I thought it could be better than JL in the first two seasons, the only thing holding it back for me, was the lack of voice actors. Everybody started to sound the same. After the show's comeback, it's certainly a shell of it's former self.

Don't remember young Static showing up in JLU. There's Future Shock where Static is in the future with Batman Beyond and his adult self is there but no GL. Theres the JLU episode Will mention but young Static isn't there. Must've been a cut scene/change before they finalized the episode.
