My heart aches even more while watching Baek Yi Jin controlling himself not to cry when she saw Hee do and when he turned his back when Hee Do saw him. That scene still hits me now.

That scene. He wanted to avoid their break up so badly, but at that point it was inevitable. Obviously Hee Do suffered from their separation, but I feel like Yijin suffered just the tiniest bit more at the time.

Yeah. Hee Do got hurt when she realized that she couldn't see Yi Jin be in her future. Yi Jin is a career-oriented man who strives for his family and he couldn't give up on his career. On the other hand, Hee Do craves love, affection, and attention. Hee Do grew up being alone and without much affection from her mother. Knowing that Yi Jin is a reporter like her mom, and just like her mom, Yi Jin is also committed to his job. Hee Do doesn't want to be alone again like what she had experienced when she was young. She doesn't want that to happen again. The ending was bittersweet indeed. It wasn't easy for both of them, but they still managed to understand one another. They both loved each other so much, and they both suffered in the end. Their decision was so painful for them but at least, it led them to the right place where they belong.

@@iosonokunkun I agree in the end her husband wasn’t around and they got divorced. So I don’t see why she and Yi-jin couldn’t make it work. It defeats the whole break up because they did it because Hee-do didn’t want to live a life like how she was brought up, with Back Yi-jin not being around like her mother wasn’t. But then her husband ended up being that. I just wished that in the end she went to find Yi-jin and they got back together.

I never forget that this song was played only two times in the drama. Ep 2 and 15. It depicts how youthful memories won't last long. I cried hard only in ep 2 b'coz the 'times' took Yi-jin's youthful happiness and everyone in real life suffered b'ocz of the 'times'. Though I've fallen hard to the original OST, Se jeong still own it in her own lonely yet heartbreaking style of singing. GREAT JOB
