I think this my favourite version of this song, I was healed of so many things when this song was sang on Sunday at church. I have been through much hurt and pain in the last 20 or years and it's like Jesus just washed it all away and gave me new hope for this year. I look forward to seeing breakthroughs and most importantly being able to live with my husband having been separated for all of our marriage (just circumstances not because we want to be) and restarting our family after the death of our son in 2010. Scripture says He lavishes His love on us! An old hymn says that "there is no shadow of turning with thee" which means that He loves us unconditionally and that He never changes His mind about that, i.e., there is no shadow of Him turning His back to us. He loves us. He LOVES us. He loves us UNCONDITIONALLY. It's even in the song. He LOVES us. Meaning he does not care if we have free will, that is what he created us for. To follow him and spread his word of love. Not to sit in fear of falling in love with the people we happen to fall in love with. As a now married christian woman, I'd like to say that He loves us and the world is becoming a more tolerant and loving place and that is what he wants. Also, Who wrote the bible? He did not mention it because he did not specifically come down from heaven and pick up a writing utensil and write his own words. He spoke through a diciple, who could have easily deviated from the plan and wrote whatever he so wanted. God loves us unconditionally and that's the point of letting us have free will. We have the options to do as we please and still can be forgiven for anything we may do. I personally LOVE my wife and god. Hi Anna, the great thing about God is, he has a plan for your life and this plan is only for you and no one can take this away from you! Deuteronomy 28:13 says the Lord will make you the HEAD and not the tail. You will always be at the TOP and not the bottom with Christ. Isn't that amazing? Do not be afraid because God is always with you, your strength comes from him and him alone, you will be victorious (Isaiah 41:10). When you know your identity in Christ there is no need to be fearful. God did not give you a spirit of fear (2 Timothy 1:7). Draw near to God. At my Youth they always ask if people want to give their life to God. I had already done so but I didn't really understand what I was doing and wanted to do it again. At Youth camp, they asked if anyone wanted to give their life to God again. I raised my hand and when several people prayed for me, it felt so different compared to the first time. It felt so great!
