No it was used as a B-side to the hugest song of the album, where it equally supports it in quality. Nothing like this she's ever recorded since, and what other woman does anyone know who gets a French Horn, muted trumpet and flute used all in the same song AND leaves it as a B-side where it's typically inviting the bourgeois critical 'minds' to ignore it. Typical, yet any piece of shit slagdonna, Turner, Minogue and even Eurythmics put out, let's salivate over it. People never get ANYTHING right do they?!

It's included on remastered CD version of "Another Step". They re-released the 80's albums years ago in CD format.

That's a great way to describe this ultra-amazing Oriental flavoured mystical ballad. Also 'How Do You Want My Love' and even 'She Hasn't Got Time For You' would also live up to that description, both from the same year's album.

@@maksphoto78 If you add up the complete (that so far is released that we know of) 80s B-sides/non-album stuff just from the 80s, you get the most perfect non-album collection ANYONE's ever done: and there's no 'like' about it-it IS an album in its own right-hell considering the amount on it-it's almost 2 albums! Consider the complete list: 1) Shane 2) Boys 3) Watching For Shapes 4) Bitter Is Better 5) He Will Be There 6) Child Come Away 7) Just Another Guy 8) Sail On 9) Back Seat Driver 10) Rain On 11) Lovers On A Beach 12) Putty In Your Hands 13) Turn It On 14) Songs About Love 15) Loving You 16) Hold Back 17) Tell Me Where You Are 18) Wotcha Gonna Do... ...which is beyond knock out for any artist-and no one in the 80s, nor ever matched it or ever will, though ABBA came close, but it must be said, 6 of their songs would have formed their 10th album, only it was abandoned, so the songs became non-albumed. And with Kim, if she ever DOES bother getting out 'That's The Mood I'm In' (a title she mentioned in several 1985 interviews as a forthcoming track from her then to be completed "Another Step" album, so it would have to be another B-side/outtake from a deluxe set of this and 'You Don't Know Me' from the "Close" sessions and only released as a B-side for a Byker Grove actress to sing in 1990 (1), then we get twenty non-albumed 80s songs! I do like hearing mixes and alternative versions of Kim songs, and quite often have to pick the so-called "extended" one over the heavily edited album versions, but generally I just stick to one version of a Kim song to play as the original. But some fan mixes have been amazing-the extended versions of both 'Bitter Is Better' and 'Greatest Journey' are so good (despite a slight fade-out accident near the end of the latter) they could be official. Here's tp her getting out more music soon, especially the locked away 1998 album she's brought up and other demos.

15 out of 20 in other words, a top class creation again. In a bumper year for albums it only manages not to own its year because of Duran's first career best being released, but even then it has to share the stage, but technically they're a band so best solo album of 1986 is obviously this. For 1988, there was far harder competition from the few women that mattered ('Til Tuesday, Bangles and Sandra), but their albums in 1986, while very good or great were still behind this. Kim's career best and the best albums in the world EVER by ANYONE are "Select, "Catch As Catch Can" and "Teases & Dares" jointly. "Another Step" begins the 2nd place which it shares jointly with the full 80s Unalbumed Pile of her stuff and "Here Come The Aliens". So ironically, though her debut began her career, and 'Close" is the one most go on about, I rate all her other 80s stuff above it. And actually your real answer is : "I rate the album 'Loving You'-this song comes off, the same as it's from the 1980s pile that began with 'Shane' and ends with 'Wotcha Gonna Do' from 1988. This collection now strengthened by 3 new songs finally unearthed from the 1982/1983 era. But we still need "THAT'S THE MOOD I'M IN' recorded the year of THIS song for "Another Step" album, yet not even issued as a B-side, even for "Close" or anything following. Still in the vault or lost to this day. Disgusting!
