Frida of ABBA! 🖤 In case you weren't aware, the song is about her divorce with Benny Anderson and is a continuation of Phil Collin's - "In The Air Tonight" (which was about also about Phil's divorce) This is why Frida asked Phil to produce the album. She connected with him in this way. It's also why the drums sound like a continuation of "In The Air Tonight." Try playing "In The Air Tonight" and immediately after play "There's Something Going On." It'll all make sense musically and lyrically. Just spreading some music history for everyone to enjoy. ✨

@Argeaux2 70s were great. 90s music, if you can call it that, was garbage. How do you even compare the two? The regular top 40 music from the 70s made use of the pentatonic minor, major, minor triads, Aeolian, and Dorian modes, excellent rhythm playing. The 90s had garbage grunge, no guitar solos, garbage d tuned guitars, and horrible singing. How can anyone possibly compare the two eras??

56 now...grew up as a kid listening to ABBA, Kraftwerk, Ventures, BoneyM, Uriah Heep, BTO, Gord Lightfoot, Country superstars, etc...world music on the radios stations...transitioned into all genres as I grew up...but still get spellbound by Agnetha, Friday and ABBA. Awed by The Ghost in recent times for their 70s sound and theatrical expression (reminiscent of pop rock, BOC and others)...someone said they are like a marriage between ABBA and Ozzy 😂🤗 and I kinda like that!

@@patrickparker8417 her mother was Norwegian, she had Frida aged 19 out of wedlock, Frida was what was called lebensborn. It was a nazi ideology to purify the race. White fair haired Norwegian women were encouraged and given money to have children with German soldiers. After the war ended the women and children of these soldiers were outcasts, spat on in the street etc. So many had to leave and this was Fridays case? Her mother and grandmother took her to Sweden when she two. Her mother died shortly after, so was raised by her gma. Frida also lost her daughter in a car accident in ny in the late 90s.
