The original of this song never caught me, it was Kim Wilde who made a masterpiece of it. I love this song for decades now and it's great to see, that there's a remixer who really understands Kim's sound and works with respect for her version. Just bought Kim's career retrospective cd/dvd collection and it's great.She was never big in North America but huge in Europe. This is the best version of this song as it has so much energy and great drumming and synthesizers.

Ha. You are remembering incorrectly. The look for women in the 80s was as far from “natural” as you could get. Heavy make up Bleached and until colored hair, big hair hair sprayed and gelled to filth. Bright colors just causing neon spandex. They didn’t look more natural They just took better care of themselves. Today women are just sloppy and obese. No make up sloppy clothes. Girls in the 80s spent two hours getting ready to leave the house. I know I was a gay boy with lots of straight close girlfriends. I don’t think you understand what they went through to look that good.
