I was fortunate to see Kim and his crew, the fabulous Thunderbirds, recently, and they never sounded better. It was an unexpected treat to see the infusion of more blues, and see Kim channeling Little Walter and other great legends. The guy has remarkable style to go with his superb music and lyrics. The lyrics of his new songs are heart felt, intelligent, and down home bluesy. He is carving a legend in stone.

I was in a music store in Seattle back around 94 or so I was living in that town working odd jobs and playing the Blues. Oh I was about 29 or so and then watch Kim Wilson and his band into that very same store. I had opportunity to meet the man and talk to him it was cool he said well you're about to eat we started you better love it son.

I live near annapolis md,and played with a musician,who worked on the recordings Severn label says kims one hell of a guy and we,all know how great a player he is,,gotta get these releases
