That looks like an awesome project. I gave the wood burning marker a try and I didn't like it. I used bamboo cutting boards, maybe that was the problem. I've subscribed quite some time ago.

Nice video. What if you put all the spoons arranged so that the engraving area is in center of bed and they are fanned out ? Think looks like a flower with the handles being pedals. That way the spoon area will be closer to center where camera is? Just a thought.

Hey guys... Love your videos. I've learned plenty from you both... Which Laser/ Engraver would you purchase if you had to dobit all over from scratch?

If I were starting from scratch with my first laser, I would get the xTool S1. It can keep up with the big boys, but at a lower price point. The S1 would give you a chance to make bigger things and get to learn lasers and software. I mean... I depends on what you are looking to do with it. The S1 is great and can do a LOT, but it cannot cut or engrave on clear acrylic. The P2 is more powerful and can run things a little faster. Did that help? ~garrett
