KIMBERLEY DREAMING | Broome to Lake Argyle & Cliff Jumping with Crocs | ROADTRIP AUSTRALIA EP.22

Welcome back to "Episode 22" of Road Trip Australia!! Stoked to have you all back for another video and to show you our travels from Broome to Lake Argyle in Western Australia!!
As you all know, we love WA and all it's amazing locations so in this episode we will show you a couple more rippers that we find. We stop in at a remote campsite surrounded by BOAB tree's which is also a great place to explore the Famous Tunnel Creek and Windjana Gorge.
We hit a few great free camps on our way to Kununurra, where we pull up at Kimberyland to explore town, check out Ivanhoe Crossing and catch a Barra!!
Then we head out to stay at Lake Argyle and explore on a BBQ boat. A fun day full of cliff jumping, fishing and snags!!!
We loved this stretch and we only just scratched the surface as to what's on offer along the way..
A good wet season this year and we will be back up there to do the Gibb River Road and show you guys around.

Great video, give us some great activitiies to do when we visit Kununrra in 2021. We were planning to do the Gibb River & Kununurra this year, but instead we are planning to do it next year. Currently in Karratha and with the wet season just started and the cyclone bring more wet weather, ever Dick & Harry will be there touring up north during the winter months due to the low rainfall & less tourists last year. We hate the crowds.

On Boab trees. The explanation of how they turned up in the Kimberly is by way of “continental drift” ie Australia was once connected to South Africa eons ago and they are a hangover from that association. However they are not only found in the Kimberly in Australia, they also exist around Augathella and Charleville in central Queensland. How they got there - well that’s another question?

just before wilare bridge on the broome side there is a gate turning right heading towards broome, that will take you to a little spot called telegraph pool, nice spot just cant swim unless you want to be lunch for the crocs.

Seriously, I'm so impressed by your videos. You do such a great job of them, they are so easy to watch. Love watching you guys and get so gee'd up about our trip coming up this year!! (Only 4 months but we will take what we can get!). Made us really excited about Lake Argyle.... I must say I'm a bit nervous about swimming though - freshwater crocs are still scary in my book and I think I'll have no chance getting the kids in there if they know they're in there, aggressive or not!! A question about Gibb - you showed us Tunnel Creek and El Questro, we don't have an off road van so counted on camping as much as possible ducking in each end leaving the van in a park either side... but could you take an on-road van into the spots you showed on this ep? Cheers, keep up the good vids!

Hi Justin I am dragging a 2.5 ton Campertrailer behind a ford ranger 3.2 Ltd It takes a bit of throttle to get things going. Your Mazda is a sister vehicle. How do you go dragging that monster van around, have you had anything done to your power plant ie; Re - mapping , chip ect. Any advice most welcome as I am doing the big trip in April. I’ll give ya a hot tip when doing live streams, make sure it says LIVE CHAT at the top instead of TOP CHAT. You can practice doing it on the replay, LIVE chat shows all comments & TOP chat misses some. There’s 3 lines next to the X press that & it gives you the option to change. My YT always goes straight to TOP CHAT by default which is annoying, so I gotta change it manually everytime. As you get popular, you might need moderators to help kick out trolls & share links for you. They appear in chat as blue with a wrench next to their name. You should pick viewers to be moderators that have followed you for a while & are familiar with your videos. Hope this helps you. Was a bloody good effort for your first prem 👍🏽👍🏽 Loved it 🤙🏽

Trip In A Van - RoadTrip Australia Series the comments come up. You hit Live chat & then tap those three weird horizontal lines next to the X & that will change it to Live chat from top chat. You can live stream in real time or in a premiere like you did. Either way you can interact with your viewers & it can get addictive. Also there is an option to set up SUPERCHATS where your viewers can donate to you. You need over a certain number of subs for that option & you have that. Worth a think about. My friends in Hawaii lost work during the Leilani eruptions in 2018 as a tour guide in Volcanoes National Park, they started a YT channel showing the lava in their backyard & survived on the SUPERCHATS whilst he was out of work. Like I said it’s worth a think about. I’ve made life long friends from YT. I visited my buddies in Hawaii this year that I met on the chats. It was bloody awesome. Got spoilt for 20 days.
