We live in the most beautiful country in the world. As a Landscape photographer, I fully love the natural beauty that this country Australia has to showcase. From the north to the south, east to the west. I spent a few days traveling around the Pilbara area with my camera photographing the amazing landscapes under the guidance of a local Aboriginal tour guide. He showed me some amazing places and told me some amazing stories. The ghost gums trees with the luminous green foliage displayed against the red iron ore cliffs covered by saturated blue skies. Absolutely loved it. Karijini is on my list to visit. Thank you for sharing your experience.

thanks for sharing this. i was fortunate to visit this park in 1996. Long long time ago. Seeing this brings back good memories. Also one of my favorite parks too. Back then the walk to kermit pool was called the miracle mile. We actually went all the way down to the junction and walk out the other way. Very special. But in hinsight not so responsible without any proper gear or guidance. It does not seem possible anymore and that is probably good. I wish you many more great trips.

You gotta be the coolest Aussie family, When our kids were growing up, we did lots of adventure trips like yours. We even hired a swing-keel 28ft sail boat from Solders Point in Port Stevens NSW and sailed up the Myall River all the way to Johnson Island in the top of the Myall Lakes.
