This episode shows the highs and the odd low when travelling full-time. In this episode, we hit the HARD sections of the Gibb River Road and the ‪@jawacampertrailers4342‬ Commander just loves all we give to her! Checkout some of the footage of the rocky sections around Ellenbrae Station!! We document all of the campsites to give you all a view of what they are like. 3 of the 4 stops in this video are camps we haven't been to before, so it was awesome just to experience new places that were closed post borders reopening.
In this video, we again had the privilege of taking a chopper flight into more remote areas around ‪@ElQuestroWP‬ . Our ‪@helispirit1916‬ pilot Maxie did an amazing job of showing us around the Lost City and Miri Miri Falls. The sight of the soaring Coburn Ranges on dusk, the sun smashing the rugged rock faces, and the most sacred and tranquil spots are an experience we will never forget!

Great episode. We always use our max trax to level up. Can use multiple stacked and gives a nice balanced level for our hybrid van.

What a wonderful capture of the GRR experience. Have just completed it coming the other way, so got the hard bit over first. Well done on getting all the way through on El Questro gorge!

WoW WoW WoW One of the best videos yet! I have a morbid fear of heights but was convinced to do a Glacier Helicopter tour in Alaska recently and was shocked at how smooth and safe it felt so this Lost City heli tour now added to our bucket list. And of course we’ll be doing all in our Commander as well 🦊

@@garybeauchamp9975 I’m good thanks Gary and Terrena, just having a little moment … Home sick, over the corrugation and the unsettling feeling of your child heading into the army just got to me. Our son has the kindest heart and I just don’t want him to change physically and mentally for the worst, if that makes sense. Glad you both enjoyed this one ☺️

This was a magical video in so many ways, the shear beauty of the palms growing in the rocky gorges, to the green frogs and waterfalls, spectacular chopper ride. What a roller coaster ride of emotions for you both, keeping calm at all times, tears are a release dee and honestly refreshing to see - travel effects us in various ways when your not in your permanent home habitat. That Gibb River Road is something else, and best wishes for your son now in the Military. 🇦🇺🥂

You two are doing a great job, thanks for sharing. What are those fish, maybe sooty grunters? Our two sons were in the forces, Matty an ADGE and Joe in the army, then they joined the cops. I take it from the little upset you may have missed the march out parade - don't worry, it's all good.

Great video guys. I loved all your videos but this was up there as one of the best. Loved the camping by the Pentecost River and the helicopter flight was amazing. How beautiful to see the falls from above. I also cried when you cried Dee. Could feel your anxiety and the sadness from not being with your son at that special time in his life but you were there in spirit. I really enjoyed all your amazing drone footage too. We live in a beautiful country.

Good, sensible driving Ant. The horror stories of the GRR are mostly people driving way too fast. Sometimes shear bad luck can come into it as well, but speed kills suspension and tyres.

@@JourneyUnknown cheers guys. We’ve done it twice and hit the Gibb on 1 June each time, west to east…. Main reason is timing with places like Exmouth (whale shark season) and Broome, plus not school holidays. Southern WA in Jan/Feb and then slowly up to leave Broome at the end of May
