What I miss most ( especially at this time of year is being able to go home. After my dad passed away my husband and I kept his home, the home I grew up in, for 4 years. Its 100 miles away and we did everything right out of respect for my dad. The house was my family’s for 46 years. A nice family owns it now and is taking good care of it. It was always the prettiest house on the prettiest street in the area. I'll never stop missing waiting for my dad to open the front door when we'd visit ❤️ I was so lucky to have had him .

Watching your Vlogs and your podcasts has always made me feel like I’m sitting and knitting with a friend. Your format this month, including the mini lessons each time, has been especially fun to watch. You truly have the gift for teaching and sharing. I've thoroughly enjoyed your vlogmasses! I tried to watch all of them, but there may have been one or two I missed. Your tutorials are wonderful. I had no interest in attempting the Afterthought Heel, but after watching you do it, it isn't intimidating at all! Those Christmas cookies look so good! I planned on making them this year but ran out of time. So I think I NEED to make them for New years Day. Lol. I love them. They are my favourite cookie. And I live the colour you are using fir your shawl. That aqua colour is so cheerful and gorgeous. You could be nothing but happy knitting with ghat wool.
