KIMCHI if you’re confused, read this: The power of the the attack titan is to see the future. Grisha saw Zeke because he was seeing Erens memories in that moment. The attack titan see’s the future which means all of their memories, including Erens memory of being inside this weird interstellar dimension place. So Grisha was seeing those moments through Erens eyes. When Grisha said “This is just a dream” when he first thought he saw Zeke, it was because he was seeing through Eren’s eyes and so through Erens memory, he saw Zeke standing in front of him, so he did see him through the memories. The actual physical contact and stuff is just for effect, but he knows where abouts Zeke is because he’s seeing it through Eren

The attack titan's power is that its current holder can send memories back to previous users. So in a round about way it can show the future to its past holders aka see into the future. However, it can't show future memories to itself. Erin realizes this and uses his father as a means of showing himself his own future. He shows his father future memories and is then able to see those memories through his father while he and Zeke are in the Paths.

@@nsampone3 the reason he saw glimpses of his future is simple, the original comment literally points this out. Attack titan users cannot see their own future directly, its simply not how it works. Attack titan users can see future inheritor's memories (it was shown this episode). But Eren can see his future this way: Future Eren sends memories back to Grisha (using the attack titan ability). Eren then kisses Historia's hand and sees all of Grisha's memories. Since Grisha's memories contain Future Eren's memories, Eren can see certain parts of his own future. Basically, the memory was sent from Future Eren back to Grisha and since Grisha's memories contain Future Eren's memories, Current Eren can see parts of his own future by accesing Grisha's memories

I had this theory that Attack titans can only see their future memories because Eren sent them to the past since he is probably the only Attack titan who went to the paths. This is because we have only seen 3 Attack titan users, and all of them only have Eren's memories. I think Attack titan cannot know the future, they only see what eren sends them back through the paths, and he affects the past in real-time because the time is instant and infinite in the paths. So, in a way, the Eren who went to the paths is affecting all Attack titan holders to lead everything to that point.

Grisha said it in the cave, each of the 9 titans have their own special ability , the attack titan has the ability to see into the memories of their future successors . which explains why Eren Kruger ( the owl) remembered Mikasa and Armin, even though they were not even born yet at that time . i think this power gets trigger when the attack titan is in contact with a member of the royal family .first Historia when he kissed her hand, then Zeke when he grabbed his severed head . maybe the owl ( eren krueger) started seeing grisha's future memories after he touched Dina Fritz ( grisha's wife) another royal blood person , maybe this is how he realized grisha would be his successor .

I would say we saw Karla in two episodes, in the first episode and in Bystander. Talking of which, I wonder if Baby Eren grabbed Keith and Karla's words in that discussion they had. It's such a big coincidence to me that Eren said people inside the walls lived like cattle/livestock (which is what Keith said to Karla angrily) y the famous line: I was born into this world (which was Karla's response)

so basically the attach titan is able to see its future holders memories.like how the howl said it was important to save Armin and Mikasa when they werent even alive yet. so everytime grisha saw Eren or Zeke it was because he was seeing it from Erens memories. everytime grisha saw Zeke it was because eren was in the back ground watching them. this episode Eren was telling everyone that he was born with black airforce energy, and that the only manipulation going around is what he did to his father. also i read a comment somewhere that said Zeke is the son grisha wanted in the walls and Eren is the son he wanted in Marley.

There is no implication that you can necessarily influence the past just because you have attack titan + royal blood. The ability of the attack titan is to see memories of the future inheritors. More specifically, attack titan users have the ability to send memories to previous inheritors. The reason Eren "influences" the past is because Grisha can look into Eren's memories using the attack titan and literally see what is going on right now through Eren's POV. The past can't be changed just as the future can't changed.

Grisha have the atk titan so he can also see eren pov influencing him too PS: eren can't manipulate past and future he can just manage to influenced and make sure it will happen

For all AoT lovers, you need to read the original manga. Isayama Hajime‘s storyboards are phenomenal, animation is made by the original manga actually. I also enjoy MAPPA’s works as well. Best experience is watching them both

We had clues about the Attack Titan's abilities. The most recent example being the end of episode 21 season 3 (called Attack Titan). Eren Krueger told Grisha his final words: To save Mikasa and Armin and everyone else. I assume that just for a moment Eren Krueger saw Grisha's memories. But, he wasn't very experienced with his titan abilites so he felt confused at the time. Now, we haven't seen Eren seeing the future probably because no one will inherit the Attack Titan after him. And about his interaction with Grish through the memories, that's actually something very complicated to explain

nothing changed, NOTHING!! the story u saw is what happened. its a time loop. Eren having the founder + atk titan + being in paths is what altered the past so that he could be at the paths altering the past ITS A LOOP. There is no need for confusion nothing has changed at all, the past has not changed all you see in this episode is just the bigger picture of the facts. Remember the atk titan has always moved foward, seeking out freedom, the ATK TITAN is the embodiment of all of Erens fellings and ideals and the only reason it can "see the future" is because Eren gave past atk titan holders memories he saw as necessary to get to where he wants to be. The last two were the ones who needed more "guidance" per say cause theyre were closer to the time of it all unfolding, thats why the Owl gets memories of Mikasa and Armin and Eren did the same to his father, thats all there is. I REPEAT: NO REASON TO BE CONFUSED OR FEEL DUMB, IT IS A BIG PLOT TWIST, BUT NOT AS BIG AS U MAY THINK CAUSE THE PAST HAS NOT BEEN CHANGED. look up: bootstrap paradox
