To be able to dig out chest number 154 you have to dig out 9 empty chests first. It's an achievement. If you followed this guide, the only chests left are 167 and 173. Hope it helped :)

Ok everyone i've figured out how to lower the water level for Chests 190 (at 2:23:37). You need to kill all ruins that are pinned down by some green seals. They are called Stone Locks and there is a total of 16 of them on the map. Kiostinv has a guide on their location. You may check if you already did all of them by looking at your achievements and see if you have "Now Let Time Resume". Once you did all 16 stone locks come back to this place where water is and you will see 4 aranaras close to the water, talk to them and they will lower the water level.

For chest 134 if water doesn´t go down after changing time, you have to go to the rock over the water nearby with the trunk and the bubble, play the lyre and change weather to circular, then change time after 12, I had changed weather to sunny and water didn´t want to go down.

For anyone who is waiting for it to rain for the 99th and 100th treasure, there is a mechanism that can switch the weather to rain beside the dendrograna at treasure number 101. It needs the Lyre unlocked through a quest though.

Tip: if you guys didn't already know this, investigating those rock piles/floating boxes in the water will help add to the exploration. If you are seeking out the 100% exploration label more than the primogems, then this will help you get that a little faster than finding every single chest laid throughout the whole area! Investigating these types of things helped me hit 100% exploration at around 2 hours in, which helped save me some effort in struggling to get those tricky chests that don't give a hefty amount of primos lawl.

But I started at around 50% exploration in this area, too, where I had already gotten the exploration from prior chests, dendroculi, waypoints and quests.

at chest 196 i was surprised to see the room filled water. turned out i just needed to go back to the surface and change the weather to sunny then circulate then turn time to past 12 and it worked xD. if this happened to you might as well put a teleporter in that cave for less hassle

Most people have not found: 4, 28, 48, 54, 59, 70 I didn't look further than this since I already reched 100% exploration, but these are the non-obvious chests that the compass can't help you find. I believe that there should be another filtered list with only the less obvious ones.

⚠‼ if you got stuck at Chest 190 (2:23:37), there's a glitch - you need to tp at Fragment of Childhood Dreams Domain, go down to clear the withering to get Chest 191 (2:24:09), then just follow the downward path to reach Chest 190 (2:23:37) - no water.

Adding onto this but if the water still isn't drained you need to do all 16 of the stone pillar puzzles! There's one I was missing near vanarana so double check! You'll know you have all of them if you get the achievement "Now Let Time Resume"

The #28, dont teleport to 7 statue, go to another teleport, follow the mob and the archer npc will spaw. My chest just spaw when i kill the archer after the mob stop walking.

With chest 28 you have to destroy the withering near the end of the route beforehand, otherwise the beast goes mad and starts attacking

1:23:39 for chest 99 you need to have the weather on " rainy " only then you get the bubbles. How to change to the weather?? 1:24:17 you see the ball thingy on top left of screen...play the lyre and choose " rainy " . If you dont see rainy option tap switch and it should be available.

Correct: you have to change the weather to circular and then change time after 12 for the water to lower, for this go to a rock nearby over the water with that trunk and the bubble with light, play the lyre and change weather to circular, that worked for me, I had changed it to sunny.
