Fabrics are something I spend hours in the market choosing, the wrong choice of fabric would totally mess the style up. This tutorial is quite useful and provide good information. Thanks Kim

Thank you. I like the part where you pointed a little should be bought first to test for: - colour bleeding - shrinkage - how the seams would look too Thank you

This is a useful topic! Are there any more tips you can recommend for if you already bought a problem fabric? (Like the print you mentioned changing the sleeve pattern. Did you drape it until it looked right?) Sometimes I notice things like fabrics fraying a lot more than I expected, or the color isn't quite right, or it drapes weird or stretches. Or it pills in the wash! Pilling is my new pet peeve!

Style and silhouette... I just always mess up here. I use cotton for styles that require a Lycra fabric and this makes it so uncomfortable....
@KimDave4 жыл бұрын
Honestly fabric and choosing the right fabrics for specific styles come with experience. Like you said, you realised you needed lycra for that style, so next time you want to create something similar you have an idea of what to use

My dear, believe me. You will enjoy it for one or two years, and afterwards you'll want your summer back 😂 Take it from someone who grew up in a tropical country and now lives in a temperate country.
