@@jakkufurosto Always thought it was supossed to be the sea of consciousness, I may be wrong but as far as I understood the incident with the Apathy Syndrome outbreak was the sea of consciousness going nuts and giving people in Ayanagi those Personas we see in the anime and the possibility of doing Shadow Extraction and reversing. This is headcannon now: It'd seem like the Personas of the main cast are more powerful than the rest due to them being naturally born instead of artificial or non complex like the Marebito and the reverse victims.
