Almost 6-7 years have passed, the love story of Taki and Mitsuha still clearly reminds me of how difficult it is to find true love... I really fell in love with Makoto Shinkai's work "Kimi no Nawa" somehow I can not forget it. and even though I watched it repeatedly, I felt like I was healing without traveling. masterpiece 😕

Within the thing they call "Life", I hear something. It's something beautiful, something that inspires me just as well as it soothes me every time I feel struck down. It's something that pats me on the back, but it does so in just a way to where, somehow, just somehow, I'm able to look back up at the stars and say, "Yeah, I think I'll be okay. I know that sounds absolutely crazy, given how utterly imperfect I am, but I really do believe it." Every time the paths go dark, every time the street lamps shut off, every time the sky fades into darkness, I hear this something. It's taken me many times of hearing this something in order to finally realize what to call it. It's this video. No joke! The impact that this kind of music has on me, let alone from such a beautiful movie, is honestly something I can hardly describe. Most of the time, I consider myself to be someone who's too sensitive, too emotional, too deeply considerate, too sympathetically interconnected with their surroundings to where, well, I sometimes can't remember if I'm capable of 'true happiness'. But uh, this video has helped me to tap into that section of me which is beautiful. That beauty which can so easily be tossed out the window and lost in the strangling darkness that is always just outside.... It helps me to take some time out, to take a step back, to freeze the frame before I lose the 'bout, and to just become one with myself. It's that sense of true beauty, true poetic happiness, something so compassionately deep, that the songs in this video allow me to remember. Heh, please excuse me if I'm becoming a tad melodramatic. I, uh, tend to get like that when something really touches my heart strings, you know? Thanks for this video, I love it! ;3

I love makoto shinkai's movies. Before kimi no na wa they were a little bit too sad, but with this one he really nailed it. I liked tenki no ko but it didn't hit me nearly as much as kimi no na wa did. Tenki no ko just felt like a story that was always in the shadow of kimi no na wa. I hope Suzume no Tojimari manages to capture the feeling that kimi no na wa had on me, although i don't think it's possible. I wish i could watch this movie for the first time again.

I need to say this: since I was young I’ve always wanting to have boyfriend, and I was a person that fall in love quickly, I’ve had aloooot of boyfriends in my life... with every relationship I was searching something... well I thought I was.., but I just discover I’m searching someone, a specific person. This movie was released in my country 2 days before my birthday... so I celebrated it with my boyfriend (currently ex) but... I didn’t cry through all the movie... I just felt... I was watching it with the wrong person... days after that I finished him. Even when I think I’m in a happy relationship, and even when I’m happy with myself and with God... I just... finish every relationship I have, and even when I think “this is it, at least I can consider him my family, because we feel good with each other” something happen like if something is telling me “HE IS NOOOOT EVEN YOUR FAMILY, SOMEONE IS WAITING FOR YOU, DONT...” and my feelings start to be confusing. But... recently... I was reading and I kind of clicked with the male protagonist... like... if he looked like someone I’m searching... and the more I red the more I felt that way... since that... I wake up thinking “who are you?, what’s your name? How do I know and don’t know you?”... it’s sounds ridiculous but it’s true...
