Happy December! :D
Sorry for the wait. Ahhh it's been more than a month since I've uploaded a new video, but I have my reasons! Not only did I have to worry about midterms and finals, but I also had to arrange my hardest and - in my opinion- most creative arrangement yet. Here it is, my cover of Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari!
For this arrangement, I wanted to be as unpredictable as possible. I really didn't want my listeners to come into this song already knowing what it'll sound like. With that goal set as my highest priority, I dove into practice spending hours a day trying to find every single approach I could find for each section of the song (i.e., chorus, verse, bridge, etc.). I really tried to create passages that would make people think, "how did he do that?! That's new!"
This was the quality content I wanted to see myself create, and boy did it CONSUME the past few weeks of my life. But, of course, I don't regret a single ounce of it. I've learned many things I probably would never have if it wasn't for the time I spent on this lengthy song, both animation- and music-wise.
I told myself I would upload this cover only after reaching 50,000 subscribers, but I figured I'll just release it now and start working on my next piece for Christmas. I'll let the video do the rest of the talking. Please, enjoy this cover!

EDIT: this should be at the very beginning... Ahh I don't know how I forgot. I would like to thank Animenz for inspiring me with his version of Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari. As you can see, my second pre-chorus and chorus were influenced by him heavily. To have even a glimpse of Animenz's material recreated into my fingerstyle arrangements really shows how influencial and important he is to me as a musician. Thank you, Animenz!

You didn't want your listeners to know what it will sound like,yeah,you really did it this time. I've listened this song hundreds of times,not only the original one,but also guitar and piano version(of course Animenz's),and I had already found a nice guitar version, which I didn't think others could overtake it.So at first I come into this video without much expectation(sorry for that,now I'm glad to being wrong). Arranging such length song is really difficult, in your previous works for such a length you adopted a method that to repeat the chorus without changes. But this time,simply repetitions are almost nowhere, inspirations are everywhere. You had used such a lot techniques to make comparisons. Personally, I like comparisons and variations,I think they are the life of music. Otherwise,dynamic control, the whole structure of this song(also can find the influence of Animenz in structure) are fantastic. In a word,you get on another level,a higher one. Keep going on!

I just started to learn this arrangement last night and it is honestly so fun to play. Your arrangements are so nice to the ear and everytime I learn one of yours there's always something new and it's always a challenge, not an impossible one but a doable one, and it's a lot of fun to learn it and play it.
