This special upload is dedicated to all my fans, who have supported my channel through the past 4 years.
I played Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari for the first time during my Animenz live tour 2014 in Asia, with a few simplified passages, compared to this KZbin version. The piece was completely improvised back then, but as soon as I started to make the sheet of this piece, I added more and more details (variations, melody voicing, transitions between each part), until it developed into this final version.
I also included many piano techniques I have never utilized before in this arrangement.
For example the jumping right hand in 1:57 or the scale played in third in 5:02 - there are many elements introduced here for the first time.
In a way this arrangement has finally established my own arrangement style and it marks the beginning point of the so called "Orchestral Style Arrangement" I have been utilizing from 2014 to 2018. Before this piece, I was still relying on many classical music references and the piano arrangement was more focused on technique, rather than the natural flow of music.
Did I also mention that Supercell is one of my favorite J-pop bands of all time? Ryo is seriously amazing for composing all these timeless melodies. I think I have listened to this piece more than a hundred times already, and I still get goosebumps while listening the chorus.
Anyway, it's nice to be back on KZbin again!

The conflict resolutions are so goddamn fulfilling. Best believe if u get to Second Season, I'd say u would rlly love the show.

yay ^^ this has to be my favorite song of all time, usually jpop songs get stale for me after I listen to them ~100 times or so, but for some reason this song never gets old. Definitely did the song justice! I've "transcribed" it in my head probably a hundred times and could never get the right notes at the solo bridge part. It definitely delivered, but it felt like it lost some of the forward drive from the original song from the measure with the scales going up and down. That is by far my favorite part of the song so just wanted to give my opinion as a person who has also listened to this song a bajillion times!

@@h3ndr4cd he meant that while it is certainly hard to play notes that fast. At that point, the left hand is relatively stagnant, so you only need to focus on the right hand. At other parts, you need insane hand independence.
