Yes Ocon is permitted to unlap himself, BUT safely. When you have taken out the race leader, then you need to apologise like Verstappens dad did, like a man. Max needs to grow up, but Ocon needs to grow up much more!

Listen, I’m a huge Max fan. I hope he will be in F1 for a long time, but I think Verstappen was in the wrong. Ocon had fresher tyres, activated DRS, took the racing line and had nothing to lose. Max cut him off from the track completely, resulting in the both them spinning off track.

Scorpion I like your reply. But the main onus has to be on the one unlapping. Not the leader. Or anyone one or two laps down can make a poor dive down the inside. Maybe even the team mate to help his No1 driver. The least Ocon could have done is steak out Max, face him. Apologize and act like a man and potential champ. Not like a spoilt brat and be brave when !ax walks away. Best of all would be put them both in the ring!!
