Kimi's Kitchen featuring Kimi Werner and Jock Sutherland. Presented by

Jock Sutherland, a 76 year old surfer and roofer has been looked up to as a legend by Kimi Werner and so many in the ocean community. He is an inductee to the Hawaii Waterman's Hall of Fame as well as the International Surfing Hall of Fame. He was named one of the 50 greatest surfers of all time by surfer magazine and is still out there ripping today at a surf break named after him. But Kimi is most drawn to his generous heart and infectious child-like charisma. His mother, Audrey Sutherland wrote the book, Paddlng My Own Canoe, which has been inspiring Kimi for years. On this episode, Kimi and Jocko talk it up over tacos and it becomes clear that it's so important to learn from the ones who came before us. Thanks for paving the way Jock!

Additional tips for the papaya tree, if you chop it down you should chop it into sections that fit together to make a square around one of your trees. If you're artsy you can make it look cool, but best thing is it starts to break down into a sponge fast and the worms feast on it all the while keeping the soil cool and damp.
