We catch a lot of them in Wa in the deep water. We always appreciate when we find the elusive sablefish. My wife calls it cloud fish puffy/ flaky delicate clouds Black cod is the jam Much love Kimmy, Justin , Buddy and fam

Your first black cod will be my experience when I nail my first mu it’s wild how outdoor dreams manifest and are so drastically different depending on the part of the world you are on…. I get lingcod and rockfish as well as cod salmon all day spearfishing the west coast and dream of mu, uku, and ulua !
