I've used Branch Basics for years! I use it for the inside & outside of the car, carpet cleaning, everyday stuff...everything! I add lemon essential oil to mine for a natural fresh scent and I think it also increases the cleaning power. Nice video!

I’ve been enjoying following along with you Kim. On a super trivial matter that I saw a few comments on, just wanted to say that as someone who enjoyed a Coke on occasion when preggo I actually found it refreshing that you left the Dr. Pepper out. Real life can mean a soda now and then, no shame in that. :) And in reality, it’s recommended that pregnant women keep it under 200 mg of caffeine a day, so with 41 mg in that 12 oz can (less than half of an 8 oz. cup of coffee) you’d need almost 5 of them to exceed that “recommended” limit; you’re good to go! Everything in moderation, as they say.
@Kim_Martin
@Kim_Martin 3 жыл бұрын
You have no idea how much this comment blesses me. I realize my "guily pleasure" drink of choice is loaded with unhealthy things, but I am very aware of the amounts of sugar & caffeine that I "can" have daily, and I keep those recommendations in mind every time I have caffeine, coffee or dr pepper. 😁 you're comment just warmed my heart, so thank you. 🥰

My favorite all purpose nontoxic cleaner is Young Living Thieves cleaner. It does just about everything and I love it. And it smells incredible. I use that along with copious amounts of vinegar and baking soda. Good job reducing the toxic junk from your home. It takes a good amount of effort but is worth it.

Another product I'd recommend is microfiber cleaning cloths. I use e-cloths because they're less expensive than Norwex, but if you know someone who sells Norwex you might want to try them. Also Melissa Maker on Makers clean --KZbin has cloths and info on how they work . Just add water. The cloths pick up the bad stuff. There are several videos and lots of information about the effectiveness of them. ❤️

Okay...I ordered the same kit you did and I LOVE the products. Having said that, the only thing that isn't going to work for me is the laundry detergent. I suppose if I'm doing a very small load of laundry it might, but there are two adults, 4 children and two dogs that live in my home. I do at least two large loads of laundry a day. This watered down concentrate, with booster added isn't cutting it for me. I'm curious what you thought of the products. So far everything except the laundry detergent is great.

I'm the UK we have these little wire pads with a purple type powder in,I'm sure it's a baking powder,anyway they remove everything! Literally and you won't have to scrub like you did on the oven door, they are abrasive due the the metal things,it looks like a massive coil of curl all squished in a tiny pad, you can use them on most surfaces and I've never had a issue with them scratching anything.

Hi Kim! New to your channel and love what you’re doing!! I hadn’t heard of Branch Basic but I’m curious. I have been making (trying to lol) my own products with white vinegar, baking soda, citric acid (great toilet cleaner btw & cheap!), Castile soap and dawn dishwashing liquid (but not all at the same time 😂). It’s super inexpensive but like most people, I love learning about new products!! Do you know how long the bottle of concentrate should last if you use it for everything? You’re a gem! 💞

Baking soda and vinegar cost pennies and work just as well. I applaud you for researching the mission statement of this company and deciding to withdraw your support. God bless you and your family as you enter into this exciting time of life! I am nearing 70, and to this day when I think of the time in my life when I was perfectly happy, it was a gorgeous blue-sky September day when my little ones were napping and I was hanging laundry on the line. I vividly remember thinking at that moment that I was experiencing bliss. Wishing you bliss!!
