A handful of Katsuobushi (Dried-bonito shavings)
[CHAWANMUSHI]
Eggs : Dashi → １:３
2teaspn of soy sauce
A little salt
Chicken, Shitake mushroom, Japanese parsley

Chawanmushi is one of my favorite Japanese dishes and not usually available in US restaurants. Thanks for the recipe. It's fun to look ba and see how much Sutan has grown and matured. She so cute here but also harder to care for!

My Japanese friend taught me how to make this. We also used shrimps and fish. Because there was no steamer, we use microwave instead. One of my favorite Japanese recipes

All I can think is “goodness I hope that chicken cooked thoroughly” - most other recipes I’ve seen cook it before hand. Also - What an adorable child! I think it’s funny how everyone in the world has trouble getting along - but we all see each others babies as the most adorable thing ever. Looking back this, it's very intesresting to see Sutan trying to touch everything, like she has already established her learning method. Sutan is still a baby but she is advancing a lot more now and I get excited seeing her grow. And now she is aware of what to touch and can distinguish food from toys from clothes from dangerous items.
