They based a supercomputer off of his calendar computations at NASA? I've watched multiple videos on this man and just found that out and it's awesome. Being from Utah and living here my whole life, I wish I would have known about him sooner and visited him at the library. Horrible to think that he could have just been put in an institution. He contributed more to the world than most. It makes you wonder how many geniuses are locked inside their own minds and thrown away because we normies are too lazy to try to understand them.

@@LetsSingTheDoomSong meh. ive always had a Godcomplex in my life . when i was around 7 years old i was very depressed cause they said i would never be older than 11 years old. i have a desease named cystic fybrosis. when i was 7 i vowed to become worlds smartest man. so that the world would listen to me and so i can tell em all to invent a cure for my illness. 2 years ago i got this new drug named "kaftrio" wich basicly cured me. but for some reason i get psychoses from this medication. i was high AF and i was CONVINCED to have an eidetic memory. however i am smart. not eidetic memory smart nor do i have a IQ of 211. i was in a psychoses that told me i had eidetic memory. so my comment was : i also have eidetic memory! soon the world will know! (i was fucked up beyond emagining) also i had a lungfunction of around 27% so i had almost no air left. 1 week after this drug i had a lungfunction of about 93% (INSANE) and now they say i can become 80+-ish :p fucked up world man. fucked up! :p greetings from belgium! have a nice day!

1998 I'm in the SLC library. Set down at a table and reading through a couple books. I notice a guy walk up and stare at me. Guy with him said we will go set at another place. Fifteen minutes later I go look for other books. I see this book my father gave me a few years prior. But this copy is a first addition, has photos. So I grabbed it to thumb through. Out of my peripheral I see a big hand. He was getting my attention telling me he has read this book. My first impressions I made a judgement about him being less than. As he walks around to my right side he goes verbatim on the book that would have trouble paraphrasing. He waddles off palms up "I read all the books" I got the vibe he sensed that I judged him and then showed he is more than. Immediately after that interaction happened another gentleman approached me and said excuse me but do you know who that was. I said no he said have you seen the movie Rainman? I said wow. Then asked if the guy with him is Tom Cruise. We laughed. He then told me all the years he has seen him in there never had he seen him approach someone and start a conversation. I got goosebumps as soon as he told me that. The weirdest thing was immediately after that the for book that a looked at said how to improve your memory.

It is reported that he was brain damaged since birth. That raises the question was he brain damaged at birth or before birth? Also it is difficult to see how brain damage could result in a lack of brain hemispheres. That suggests abnormal brain development, however it is possible that both occurred.
