Indeed, but did you see around 7:37 of the previous video Part 2? His picking hand is also one of the greatest, quantum speed right there, lol.

I remember way back in the day Kingsbury High school built a recording studio Shawn would come in and record. I was amazed by his talent even back then.

any recommendations how to get a clean sound like this which still makes it possible to hear every hammered and pulled-off / not picked note ?
@ericnicolleau43318 жыл бұрын
Practicing hammer only on a clean channel with no picking hand help me a lot, check out Rick Graham legato lesson... good luck, he take times but it's unavoidable if your goal is to match Shawn's playing
@ericnicolleau43318 жыл бұрын
Also, Shawn used gain in this video, but if you want to shred with a clean sound, try to turn of your Tone knob and use neck pickup... it will sound like the "black market" outside solo...
@FatPeaceman8 жыл бұрын
Eric Nicolleau Hey there, thank you for the answer. I made a big success meanwhile, I found the perfect gain settings on my amp which work for me, so I can still make it sound very clear. I know Rick Graham, he is an amazing player :D

Guys he’s amazing technically and musical when slow but please don’t be a typical guitarist and do keyboard shapes. Of course it sounds cool as fast as he plays but it is NOT music.
