Hotsilog stands for hotdog, sinangag( fried rice), itlog (egg). Your rice looks steamed not fried. But a customer could choose steamed or fried for the rice.

I'd take a hotsilog (if the hotdog is Purefoods or an equal lol) over a Yumburger, too, unless I'm specifically craving for a simple burger. Tropical Hut is my go-to among the more affordable fast food burgers.

Filipino spaghetti is similar to Tennessee style BBQ spaghetti. Instead of using tomato sauce they use BBQ sauce. Personally I think both styles are good, although I like traditional Italian style spaghetti. I guess I got from my Italian ancestors, and not my Filipino side.

About the "worst dishes in the world by TasteAtlas" every country has their own culture, their own way of cooking any dish + adjusting it according to their taste/ingredients available... i guess those judges needs to go out/travel more and experience different cultures, watch and learn how people in different countires cook this kind of food/cuisine!

I've had Filipino spaghetti and Hotsilog, which I make at home myself when my wife is on a kitchen strike. Only thing with the Spaghetti is that it's often made sweet. I had Laeng - delicious. I've never had Kinalas. Kinalas in tagalog means dismantled or undone. Not sure what that translate to when you have that dish.

That is how Tomas Morato looks now?! Anyway, the Philippines is lucky to have a couple of dishes appearing on a Bulgarian critic 's list. About 6 months ago, I wouldn't have named a famous Bulgarian myself. At least I can tell you that I am a fan of a violinist by the name of Svetlin Roussev from Sophia its capital. So, I don't mind zingers or culinary bombs exploding... In fact, until a few moments ago I was absolutely clueless what a Kinalas was. I also needed to ponder the meaning of hotsilog...and I am Filipino!

You're right. You can't go wrong with Hotsilog. But I guess the representative of Taste Atlas had the same Hotsilog that you had on this video. The fried egg was so shabbily done. The rice was cooked conscienciously & the hotdog was not Purefoods (not endorsing the brand)... if I may say the whole plate they served you was so pathetic. No offense intended.... I mean they need a lot more to improve it.

Bulgarian cuisine is quite bland like most European food. They mainly eat yogurt,cheese,bread,minced meat with salt and pepper. Very bland compared to Asian cuisine.
