Ang natutunan kong kinamatisan is parang sigang x nilaga, may sabaw, may pechay, patatas, siling haba at madaing kamatis na chopped lang. Pero both version definitely tastes good. Thx for sharing new recipes today Miss Juday

Naenjoy kung panoorin ang version ni Ms. Juday ng kinamatisang manok/baboy.Its really a different version sa nakasanayan ko .Im from Tiaong Quezon and now living in the US .My version ng kinamatisang baboy or manok is 2 .masarsa it’s because of the kamatis and masabaw but the difference also is nilalagyan ko sya ng sitaw or patatas.Try nyo din .I will try your okoy Ms.Juday ❤

Proud kapampangam here po… eto yung isa sa mga comfort food ko na lagi ko pinapaluto sa mama ko… super yummy. But we don’t blend po yung kamatis. Gisa lang ng garlic, onion then kamatis with abit of water then seasoned with patis and pepper then lagay na ang pechay or bokchoy. Job well done po Miss Juday. I love all your videos. Pa request ng kasama ulit si nonong sa cooking nyo, katuwa po kasi 😂😂

Cinamatisang Manok/Pork here in Pampanga is included in the family of Sinigang and it is masabaw whenever we cook it. We are sauteing onion, garlic, patis, camatis we are adding water to boil and then we are putting cabbage/pechay or bukchoy plus labanos hehe

Kinamatisan favorite ng mga anak ko noong maliliit pa sila pero ako hindi ko gina grind kamatis chop lang tapos lagay lahat sa ilalim ng meat kamatis at sibuyas lang then toyo paminta sarap na sarap mga anak ko. 😊😋

I am 68 yrs old and i live here in Denmark for 5 decades. I cook pretty much myself and i have tried this recipe several times and it taste so good with chili for the heat. Your okoy batter is so good as you said it is a fool proof. Thank you for sharing MISS J. god bless and shout to your family.

The kinamatisang ulo ng isda with pechay, sabaw only is the authentic kinamatisan na hinahayin sa amin ng tatay nung bata kami. Very basic! Sarap From Tiaong here

Hello Judy Ann, i bought your recipe book ages ago when I visited Manila. I had seen one of your videos and this is the second time that I watched it with patience. The only thing that I noticed was that, sugar is always included. Can you omit sugar in your next recipe especially if the vegetables are fresh because you can taste the sweetness of your food from the vegetables like pumpkin, courgettes, and carrots. No need of sugar. There's an increase in Obesity in the Philippines due to their fondness of sweet foods.

I tried that with chicken, Kinamatisang Manok and I want it with soup. It tasted sinigang without sinigang mix. But it was good and so tasteful.

kinamatisang manok usually niluluto namin sa Dubai noon dahil madali gawin at mura ang ingredients. Hindi rin namin finufood processor, at niluluto lang namin yung kamatis ng matagal hanggang madurog siya. pero sobrang sarap pa din lagyan ng pepper at patis. Good job

Born and raised from Pampanga here. My mom always made kinamatisang pork ribs as a soup. She'll also add lima beans, daikon, cabbage and petchay. This is how I also make it now that I am a mom. I am looking forward to try the saucy version. ❤

favorite ko ang kinamatisang baboy (specially pata) or chicken.. at piniprito ko muna para hindi madurog kasi niluluto ko ng matagal kasama ang kamatis kasi ginagayat ko lang sya.. may pechay, sitaw at siling haba.. at masabaw na parang sinigang pero mas distinct ang lasa ng kamatis at walang sinigang mix.. wala kasi akong food processor 😅😅 try ko yan pag meron na😊😊

My Nanay uses kamatis even for menudo, when I was young, I remember! I aske why?! Comment ng brother ko, ... "Tan-Ga! Hindi naman uso tomato sauce dati! Amerkano lang nagdala sa Pinas nun!" Kamatis talaga ginagamit panggisa, for asado, menudo, sarciado, atbp... it is 1/3 of the tvj of sauteing .... like ... bawang, sibuyas at kamatis! 😍

we do this as well back home in Laguna, luto ng lola ko (from Nueva Ecija) passed on to my mom. We use chicken or pork , pero hindi combined. We use a lot of super red tomatoes, garlic, onions, kalamsi, then toyo. Sama sama na sila doon hanggang halos matuyo at manuot ung sauce. Kinamatisan sa iba para mapaliwanag kung ano un, pero sa bahay ang tawag tlg namin sa luto ay "TIIM".

Oo nakapag luto na ako kinamatisan Manok but separate yun pork.. More kamatis yun ginawa ko with a hint of vinegar, pandagdag ng asim at sugar, also put astuete for added flavour hindi siya masabaw medyo tuyo ng kaunti love your cooking. .Will try your recipe, Ms. Judyann.❤❤

❤️ your channel. Growing up, one of mother’s signature dishes was kinamatisang baboy (soupy style), and it’s indeed a simple dish but delicious. The bright orange color from the tomatoes makes the dish both appetizing and inviting

Ang version ko ng kinamatisang baboy(liempo part) or manok... Same tyo ng ingredients.. diced chopped yun tomato ko.. i dont use patis.. but i use chicken cubes too.. no salt no bay leaf. No water added. Fresh ground pepper at sugar I add.. Then my version.. I add po Liver spread mga 5 tablespoonful lang.. it makes the sauce creamy and meaty. ❤❤❤❤❤

Hi Ms. Judy Ann! It's a Kapampangan dish. Growing up niluluto ito nang madalas ng mga lola at mga nanay doon. Ginigisa ang pork ribs sa bawang, sibuyas at maraming hinog at mapupulang kamatis hanggang mag-soften sila. Patis at paminta ang pampalasa. May sabaw sya at ang gulay na nilalagay namin ay labanos, pechay at siling haba. Comfort food! Thanks for sharing your version. 😊

I'm from Cebu and there's a resto named Dessert Factory that has been serving Kinamatisang kawali so basically lechon kawali then you pour the mashed onions and tomato sauce on it. Sooooo good! I have been told it's an Ilocano dish. I've been going back there for decades because of the Kinamatisang kawali

Madalas namin ulam yan miss juday, hindi rin masabaw saucy lang. Tapos hinahaluan namin ng ampalaya and sayote. Maiba lang para di laging adobo, chicken curry, afritada, pochero.. masarap ito lagi natutuyo yng samin ksi lahat naguunahan sa sauce nya 😅

I cook that for my family..but my own version is,im putting ampalaya with it..and my family loves it..the sourness of tomato,the taste of ampalaya plus the natural taste of the chicken and tha saltiness you add..ahhh it's perfect..with just a little sauce from tomato😋you should try..

Hi Ms Juday! I am a big fan and always watch your YT chanel lalo na pag may bago kang upload, all the way here in Cali. I also cook this but for us we call it Asadong manok. Same procedure but I sear my meat with little butter and I put carrots and potatoes the rest are the same as how you cook it. My kids love it. Korean side dishes nman Ms Juday yung mga kimchi kimchi, anchovy kimchi 😊

My late Mom’s version, parang version nyo Ms. Juday thick sauce but may ginisang alamang (with chopped green peppers, optional). Parang short pork ribs binagoongan at kinamatisan style 😊 I’m missing my Mom habang pinapanood ko this episode ❤ Loved your family interactions while cooking! 12 yrs ago ko na po niluluto ang kinamatisan manok. Meron nga nagulat na pede pala un . Kaya dame din gumaya nun ngluto ako kinaamatisan manok. Fave ko lutuin din yan din po.

Ang masarap nyan is Kinamatisang Tinadtad na Baka. I remember growing up and kasama yan sa menu namin sa bahay. Masarsa din ang version ni Mudra, nagiging masabaw lang dahil mahilig sa sabaw ang kuya ko. Taga-Talaga Batangas si Mudra kaya akala namin e from Batangas yun kinamatisan. Masarap sya talaga. Yun kinamatisan manok na ang niluluto ko kasi mahilig sa chicken ang anak ko. 😀

Hi Juday! Ang tawag sa amin sa Calumpit Bulacan is Asadong Manok. It is an heirloom dish. Our version is un masauce and not soupy. We marinade the chicken first sa garlic, kalamansi , patis and konti toyo. Better overnight. Then we fry the chicken. Not so much but the skin yun medyo nacrispy. We use thigh part. The whole thigh and leg. But i do A healthier version kasi airfried na ang chicken. Originally chopped or minced and onion and tomatoes. Then sauté onion, tomato and garlic. Dapat sangkutsang sangkutsa na sya and lumabas na un sariling katas ng kamatis. Then ilagay na un fried manok sa ginisang onion tomato And garlic na naglangis na. Halo konti then put some water para manuot sa manok un sarsa. Then magmamantika ulit sya. Season it according to taste with salt peper and patis. And that’s it! Di yan nawawala sa aming family feast. Third generation na kami sa pagluto nyan. Kung ihahambing sa ibang bansa pra syang curry chicken less the spices and herbs👍☺️

Luto sa kamatis, ang turo sa akin ng Tatay ko from Sta. Rosa, Laguna. Same process, sarsa lang at walang sabaw. green peas at pamintang buo ang kasama. yung kapag sumubo ka, may makakagat na paminta, ibang lasa ang mabubuo :D

same as my sarciadong manok (without the sugar). ganyan ako mag-sarciadong isda . walang itlog and hinog na kamatis gamit ko para red and more saucy. di ko pa na-try sa pork. pero i think, masarap to sa baka. and also, the oily the better. :P

Ang version ng nanay ko nyan may suka, so tawag namin ay adobo sa kamatis. Masarap sya kahit manok or baboy. Tapos may sawsawang patis. Mapapakanin ka talaga!

my version is gisa ko lang either pork, beef or chicken , depende sa bet ko kaninin that time sa onion, garlic, luya at maraming kamatis, season with patis and pepper, until kumatas ung kamatis, add ako onteng water enough lang lumambot ung meat, then nag a-add lang ako bayleaf, siling haba for added kick and aroma lang din.... magmamantika siya eventually..un ang habol ko naman sa pinakasauce...

I think from Pampanga sya. I recently met my lola from Pampanga and nagluto sya ng kinamatisan baboy. I thought ganyan yung luto masarsa but yung niserve nya may sabaw parang Sinigang and instead of kangkong, pechay yung gulay and labanos. Medyo bland yun lasa pero comforting kaya may katabing asin, patis or toyo sa gilid . Ayun din yung nirerequest sa kanya ni tito Vic and Joey nung may restau pa sya and that was early 2000s.
