@user. You will love Burundi. I am Burundian, but I don't know Burundi that well because I left in 1971 after my secondary school education, but I went to visit my family in 2006 and 2018. I hope to go back this October 2024 and visit Bujumbura, Nyanza-Lac in the south, Cankuzo in the east and Karusi-Ngozi in the north (where I grew up and went to school). Just 2 days ago, I got the photo of my first grade teacher (1959/1960) and I was surprised to see that he still seems to be in good shape. He must be in his 90s.

I got that info from some Burundians who offered to buy me beer. They said it’s part of their culture to drink. Also buju is quite expencive in some sides. My hotel itself was 70 odd a night and I went to this resort near Congo boarder that food costs and arm and a leg 😂 But I was trying to show that you can survive easily with that

I heard that from other youtubers but I don't know since when drinking beers is one of our culture, maybe some people like to sit and drink after work (socializing) but we can't go and say it's a cultural thing...another thing, Burundians like jogging (on weekends specifically ) it's not prohibited as you said they are even so many registered associations ..we still have a long way to go in terms of infrastructures...cost of living is not that expensive.. of course you went to Garden resort things are not cheap but they're so many beaches with fair prices ..anyways thank you once again for the video
