More great finds. I don't think this antique store was expensive at all. It's just that some booths are reseller type prices and some are retail. It's funny if you think a price is too high for resale everyone comments that the place is expensive lol!! No matter what the pricing structure you always find pieces to sell and make money off of. That's what sets you apart. You are both gifted and talented on all things vintage. I have no clue how you remember all these maker marks and such. Usually with 1970s- early 80s those silver trees had a color wheel that is lit up. And as the color wheel goes around it changes the color of the Christmas tree to red, blue, yellow, and green.

New thing to say "You just magic-ed that" :) We had that silver Christmas tree up for a few years, using that rotating color wheel with it. Very 60s. That poor Germanic doll needs to have her cataracts lasered out, and a nice little dress and undies put on. I love Holt Howard, especially the kitties.

Jocelyn, about your Haggar Eve vase, I know nothing about shipping, but if it were me I'd find out how much the shipping would cost on the $40 one on Ebay. If shipping will cost you another $40, then the Ebay one will end up costing you $80 anyway. I'd take cash back to the antique store & offer them $70 cash. You'd save a bit & would have it right away, no waiting for shipping & no risk of shipping damage. I'd buy it if I really liked it. You can keep it to enjoy for awhile, then sell it later so you'd get your money's worth.

I did. I told them it was marked $85, but they sell for around $50 on eBay. They came down to $70. And I decided to take it, but when I went to check out, I found out that was only if I paid cash or check. 😓 I took that as a sign that I just need to find it in the wild.

It depends on the item. I’d rather buy something for $40 and turn it for $60-make $20 and offer something of higher caliber in my eBay than buy something for $3 at Goodwill and turn it for $23. It’s the same profit. Just more initial investment.

If the base is cloudy it is not as good of quality. A "Clear bottom" are better quality. Murano glass base will always be clear. Hope this helps
