Because it's super tricky. You can't even consider the Arkham game a trilogy because of Origins and now Kill the JL. Mario is tricky. Jak and Daxter had X and Lost Frontier. Like a VG trilogy either needs to be loosely based rules and can be a hundred pages long or very strict and that leaves approximately 6-20 series. Very very tricky

I think Tim was putting way too much thought into the trilogy list. There are definitely set trilogies that eventually get a 4th and even more games. The Uncharted Trilogy IS a trilogy, the Nathan Drake Collection is those 3 games but capitalism says "more money must be made" All that just for the list to be bad anyway lol but thats just the way it goes

Love you guys!! After experiencing it though, I think I like the” big streams” more in the OG sort of way vs this format. Or maybe a mix of both would be best?? Because the more unique shows ( like KFAF) are great to get here, but it’s a lot less special to get a pretty much “ regularly schedule programming”. As part of it. Just a thought!

The best indie list is infuriating in a sense, theres so many great indies and opinions are subjective but that list made no sense and was missing some bangers and other influential games. No Celeste and no Shovel Knight is wild Tim and Barrett arguing that Minecraft isnt indie is wild. MC was a juggernaut waaaayyy before Microsoft bought it in 2014. I had already been playing it on my phone and my 360 by that point. It was EVERYWHERE
