I agree with the last part of the video. You see, this is what makes bbyu couple beautiful. Although there were problems and of course personality clashes on both of their sides, they try to ignore those things and focus more on what's important. They solve those problems together and compromise with each other. I love this video! Thanks for making it! I noticed that during the show, Joy was the one who was always very expressive so it seemed that she had more feelings, but it was always the most subtle things with Sungjae. He was not always romantic outwardly, but it's the way he looks at her, or how he would try to keep himself from smiling too much around her while he had this giddy look on his face. He was so smitten with her, but he hides it behind his playfulness because he feels awkward doing romantic things. Also, I think he was holding himself back a lot because he also wants to protect Joy. But there are certain things that you just cant hide, and this video proves that. They really match each other well, even the PD claimed that SJ was made for Joy. Even the panel were always so drawn to them. I miss our bbyu couple!

But seriously for real.. i think their relationship is really healthy, what i meant is that they always try to understand each other. When there's a problem, joy would think about sungjae's perspective of the problem and sungjae also try to understand and think about joy's perspective. And i think this is super important when it comes to a relationship. Joy and sungjae, individually, both are really kind, honest, and sincere person. That's why they matched really well. And also, another important thing that i want to mention here is that, my teacher told me that a relationship can go really well if they have the same styles of conflict resolution. My teacher said that there's 3 type, conflict avoiders, volatile, and validating. And i think they both are the validating type/style, which is, they deal their conflict with honesty, understanding, and they try to open up and express their feelings but they also try to understand their partner's perspective/opinion. I can just go on and try to explain some more points (and yes i'm a psych major student) but there's too much hahaha but this is the one that i want to mention here ♡ I just wanna say that i love their relationship so so much, even tho they're not in a relationship (well but they might be haha) i just think that they have a nice and healthy relationship while they were in wgm 💖

The fact that I, and most of us haven't moved on literally 5 YEARS LATER. there's a reason why we're still around... Sungjoy themselves don't completely deny eachother up until now... There are many "moments"... Plus most of us feel like they have unfinished business.... That they were separated bc external factors/pressures not because of eachother. Anyways... SJ enlisting right now... I still haven't lost hope but also my hope isn't as high now as it used to be years ago... I'm preparing my heart for the possibility of either of them being confirmed to date other people... And if it turns out they date other people, I think fate is a real thing... As expected, another bbyutiful vídeo from you. Thank you so much for making this. I really like this video because it goes beyond(what a lot of haters of this ship would usually say about SungJoy) the show just being scripted. While I do believe that yes, they were given scenarios and whatnot, this video does a wonderful job in reminding me why I ship these two in the first place. Other people say we don't appreciate Sungjae and Joy individually, with some saying we are just projecting ourselves and would want to be either in Joy or Sungjae's place. While that is a lovely thought, I personally believe it wouldn't work out as beautifully as it did for these two. Park Sooyoung is definitely one of, if not the most hardworking, kindest artist I know, the same way I look at Sungjae. And beyond the situations they may have been given in the show, the way they reacted, their instinct, words they don't actually say out loud, make me think that they are the best person for each other. The other thing I liked was how immediately these two got to a point where they know how to read each other. One of my favorite moments in the show was Sungjae laughing at Joy when she was singing her Young Love parts, he knows how stubbornly persistent she can be when it comes to making sure she does her job well. This happened again during their last concert, he thought, knowing the perfectionist Joy is, she is going to sing again because she broke down crying the first time. Seriously how can we or will we ever get over this ship? Why did these two perfect people have to meet? Ugh.

I’m a Kpop fan since I was in gradeschool, I never had idols that I shipped before. Until I met bbyu when I was on college. I’m in torn and kinda frustrated because they are really perfect for each other. We saw that they fell in love and I know that they did. I just wish that all the hints that they’re giving us recently from Joy’s Ig posts and Sungjae’s CWTW wont give us false hope! 5 years after their show I’, still waiting and hoping for them. I think what made this more real was the fact that Sungjae himself explained that they both just jumped into WGM and didn't know about each other so of course there would be misunderstandings and I agree with Sungjae on that part cause in reality how do you expect a relationship to feel comfortable and blossom without any prior background knowledge of the person (unless it was scripted it be easy for a person to do) and they even skipped the "couple stage" for this show and went on to marriage so how can he not be even more cautious with Joy to keep her purity on marriage. He was thinking ahead if you ask me and from what I have seen all WGM couples besides Sungjoy literally jumped into romance and intimacy and sure there were some awkward couples but they didn't discuss there problems like Sungjoy they simply got over it and tried to make best of situations where they can show there lovely couple side....Sungjoy to me looked real cause they literally started a relationship in the show naturally due to Sungjae guidance which is first getting to know each other/find commonalities and be friends, second hint that you like the person when you finally realize the importance of your partner, and third actually tell the person you love them and work on the relationship and they did all that :)

My thoughts: SungJae being the shy, slow type but is very cautious and observant and full of humour makes him the ideal guy for Joy, because she is the impulsive type, she goes for some things without thinking twice. As what she said they compliment each other because when she tends to take things fast Sung Jae is there to control the pace, though he is very playful and child like but he is composed and focused. And their personalities are those types who are hard to find a perfect match. Yet they found each other, but because it's young love, they probably want to explore more, especially Joy, but I hope they find each other back. My personality is like Joy's excluding the beauty 🤣 and I swear I change guys oftenly not because I toy with them, but because I seem to can't find someone who was same as my ex lover before who had the personality like Sung Jae, exclude the handsomeness 🤣🤣 but yeah, honestly, I still miss him, but young love hahahaha, I hope to find him back but if not I hope to find someone who would match me, better or same personality as my past lover. I just realized this recently, then came across to SungJoy WGM every episode I was bawling my eyes out because I could somehow see myself with how impulsive Joy was and how composedly-playful Sung Jae was 🤧😭😭😭😭

my theory on sungjoy (bbyu) what if: after their time in wgm ended, they couldn’t get over each other, because they have so much to do together (considered the bucket list both of them made). so they decided to try do them in secret. here are the examples: they did an advertisement joy got a dog (but sungjae comes and play with them ;) ) they both had experience with basketball or any sport some of joys bucket lists had “go to a playground at night” or “go to a theme park at night”. so u get what i mean. so what if both of them are doing this, bc they both know that they grown so close that they couldn’t get over it, and to act professional since their k idols, they try do that, because they know if they stay with each other (as kpop idols) then a lot of obsessive fans would bash on them.

Cant get over with their WGM show. The last part of this clip, you would know that there is something. As painful as it may sound but they have other things to think of.
