Learn how to assemble the AVEO tricycle by Kinderkraft! In life certain things are deceptive like this video. They make it so simple and easy until you try it yourself. Nightmare is not word. It took ages to put everything together. Just thought I would leave a comment for any new owners/perspective buyers of this trike like myself! The assembly was fairly easy until you get to inserting the steering handle... it was a nightmare!! They make it look super easy in this video... 1 click and done... but it definitely wasn't for us! It took us half an hour, many many failed attempts and eventually some WD40 lol. Once you push the pin in and then are able to push the handle down... the handle just wouldn't then push down straight no matter how slowly I pushed it! It was just luck that the pin found it's place after such a long time of us trying x

Great trike but have same issue with the Parent steering it’s like the rod is a little too long and makes the handles slightly off centre to the front wheel no way of adjusting it , other thank that really good product

Took nearly 2 hours to build due to some very fiddle parts that did not go together anywhere near as easily as shown in the video. I'm also highly sceptical about the plastic rings which hold the front fork and handlebars to the rest of the frame. What's the point of a heavy duty metal frame when it's held together with cheap plastic parts?

The steering handle is extremely hard, it doesn’t just click in like the video. I’ve been sat here for an hour whilst my daughter watches me assemble it on her birthday with no luck of the steering handle going in. Seems like I’m not the only one who struggled with this part. Don’t think the measurements are made properly.

The video makes stuff look easy which isn't. Construction is very fiddly and I had to use a hammer several times to get things to lock in place. The fitting of the seat cover was a nightmare and despite watching the instructions several times and being careful it ripped badly.
