Some people never learn! She pushed three of her kids into showbizz and eventually substance abuse because for her it was all about the money. She chose a luxurious life over the heads of her kids....instead of being the mother they needed. I can't believe Nick was blamed for his sister Leslie's death. According to the bible the father is the head of the household. He is the one who instills self-esteem and values into his children by treating his wife as Christ loved the Church. It's heartbreaking realizing that there was no happy ending for this family. Both Leslie and Aaron are now gone and so is Robert Carter. Angel and Nick continue being estranged from their mother for very obvious reasons. Fame, money, drugs, and greed truly destroyed this family. During this time Aaron was still considered a child and Jane could have stepped up and been an actual mother and helped Aaron through his addiction which might have barely been starting out. Things could have been so different, maybe Aaron and Leslie would still be here. Jane failed as a mother. 💔

Watching Aaron Carter sing "Aaron's Party" as an adult might be one of the saddest things I've ever seen. At least something like "I Want It That Way" is actually a good song. "Aaron's Party" is written for 12 year olds. Nothing wrong with that, but that's still his main song. 99% of the time, I think artists should get over themselves and play the hit song that made them famous. Interesting listening to this now. I believe both nick and arreon were used by their parents for financial gain. At their top they were easily worth millions and I find it suspicious that arron had no money in his accounts when he was underage. At 18 he got maybe 2 mill but he was worth so much more and his mom is saying oh he spent it on clothes jewelry etc... yeah close too a million no way. She was the one with that control and she can blame it on everyone else. She alienated all her kids but Leslie and Leslie died of an overdose so now she's lost everyone. This is a tragic family 👪 broken apart by fame jealousy and greed. Is all that money really worth losing those you love. Sure, let's right a bookabout it. All those dirty secrets, Tanisha my sons reputations even more. That's not love, that is wanting attention and money. She obviously spent it all. As for nick, he should have protected arron. He was already out there, had done drugs etc and came out the other side. When he noticed things were going wrong,he should have stepped in. Taken arron away, live with him if necessary. He certainly had the financial means at that point 👉 Arron was the casuality of a raging family war and got caught in the crossfire... From there, he just self medicated to not feel that pain and as time went on he took it out on the world, became someone else that no body wanted to know. Drug use, depression and a break with reality, ultimately betrayal. Bad choices and desperately needing to be loved not judged. Rip arron, troubled boy trying to become a man.

Aaron Carter went from $5 million USD in that trust when he was 18 to his estate being valued at $750,000 USD at the time of his death at 34 in 2022 so he'd effectively lost $4,250,000 since he turned 18 and he was still earning up until the time of his passing too. He could have already had other money on top of the $5 million which would make the loss larger. So my point is he had wasted almost his entire fortune, he wasn't investing it properly, he could have easily at least doubled that $5 million just through investing in markets over those 16 years and that's without even working, he made even more money on new work but he lost all that too. Aaron spent the last years of his life publicly feuding with his brother Nick and even threatening Nicks familys life to the point where a restraining order was granted to Nick by a judge after Aaron went and bought a heap of guns and was on live streams constantly holding up guns and saying "he knows how to use them" etc referencing his brother. I don't think they ever spoke again after that.

Damn I don't know what to think. This is sad. Maybe there is some truth to this. But I still can't be sure the dad just is smarter in how to get his children to give him money too. And what's even sadder is the one child Jane had a good relationship with ended up being the one who died. I can't even imagine how she must feel til this day since that happened. I still feel for her despite whatever may have happened between her and the other 4 kids.

@ivanrenard3153 you could see how she was going down the totally wrong path already in House of Carters. She was drunk every day! And Nick begged her to at least tone it down but she didn't listen. Last I heard she had said somewhere that she hadn't spoken to Nick in five years.

It’s sad that it took her losing her relationship with her kids to figure out that they were more important than material things. Just sad, you would think that you would realize they’re the most important thing the moment that you hold them the first time.

its mostly Brian's song tho. Good parenting really does reflect in getting a "good" kid at least 80% of the time. Look at Brian,Howie and Kevin they had both parents. AJ & Nick always acted out and were the ones of the group who absued drugs & alcohol becuz Aj didnt have his Dad and Nick didnt have his Mom

I think it’s less about having both parents and more about if you have 1 parent, the kind of job the 1 parent does raising you. - There’s plenty of people who are fucked up and had both parents all their life

@@oneDirection1Harry1 Kevin’s dad died in 1992 (Kevin was an adult), the most important span that kids need their parents is up until the age of 12, (yes you can still need your parents @ moments after that), their are actually physiological studies on it. So Kevin did in fact have his father (yes the death still definitely affected him, but at that point in your life (for anyone who was raised by both parents, to the best of the ability of at least one parent) you know how to properly deal with any trauma that may be associated (because it’s different for anyone especially @ that age) with losing a parent, it really wether you choose or choose not to deal with it properly), but both parents still raised him for the most crucial part of a child’s life. same as Howie (his father passed in 2008, when Howie was an adult, & he dealt with any trauma that may have been associated with it properly, because he knew how to do so), & Brian’s Father raised him (plus is still here). it’s really just AJ & Nick who didn’t have both parents (or even one parent doing the best they can to raise them). AJ Father & Mother divorced when he was 3 years old, he was Enstranged from his Father for several years (starting from around the time of the divorce), plus his mother was too wrapped up in being bsb manager during the height of his drug addiction the 1st time around, (she admitted that in one of the interviews AJ did after rehab the first time around), which is a point in life that you need a parent (no matter how old), to help you realize you took the wrong path @ dealing with something, because when your @ the height of a drug addiction you Brain isn’t properly functioning, (you don’t process, before you do it). Nick Mother Was Too Wrapped up in being bsb manager @ one point and too wrapped in the money (Nick was put in the industry at the age of 8), & was an alcoholic while they were growing up, plus Nick Father was also Enstranged from his a few kids for a few years (watch house of Carters, Nick sister Leslie Mentioned him and her not seeing each other in 2 years, which @ time lead back to around the time of their parents divorce), & he was also an alcoholic when they were growing up, (the Carter’s were practically fending for themselves the moment they came out their Mothers Womb), & he was Enstranged from his kids when he passed, (which would made his death harder on Nick & Siblings).

@@poppy83. true and BSB’s ‘Rivals’ (nsync) are kind of an also ex that of if @ least one parent or Gaurdian does their job, they can not end up the path of the Carter’s or AJ McLean, (It known Lou Pearlman artists (most of them) came from ‘Broken Families’), and ‘Broken Families’ (I hate the public’s definition of that word), is said to be why people end up down this road, which isn’t entirely true, because not only can you have one parent or guardian & ended down that road, you can ended up down that road no matter what background family you come from, or not at all. Chris Kirkpatrick was a child of Teen Parents who Split when he was young, plus there was a few year gap before his step parents came into his life, (during which he was raised mostly by his Young Mother). JC Chasez Birth Father walked out when he was a Baby, then his Birth Mother Gave him up for adoption @ 5 years old. Justin Timberlake parents divorced when he was really young, & there was gap of time before his step parents came into his life, (which he raised mostly by his Mother). Even Losing a parent (regardless of the age or family background), you can choose the wrong path of self medicating, but Kevin Richardson didn’t when his father died from cancer, (due to fact of how he was raised, not because he has both parents during his crucial years). Heck even Britney Spears could have choose the path of Drugs & Alcohol, Her Father in Abusive, & Alcoholic while she was growing up (still is), & she could have truly have ended up down the path of Drug & Alcohol (like her father ‘claims’ she did). Even Christina Aguilera She Grew Up with an Abusive Birth Father as a young child, she also could have ended up down the same path of self medicating, (I’m talking truly self medicating, not the one just the one incident of over the limit, along with Matthew in 2011), if she truly wanted to, but didn’t. So it is truly down to how the people around you, especially parents & guardian (at least one) raises you (doesn’t matter if it biological or not), because any of them could have just as easily ended up down the same path of Drugs/Alcohol, if anyone around them (that truly cares about them) had let it.

If this mother didn't do anything, all of her children but one, wouldn't have left her. That speaks volumes right there. But then again, when your son tells you about sexual abuse, you don't ask him if he's gay... That's just don't you don't do. 💔
