The paper white battery lasts for months on end. And also it waterproof if u accidentally drop drinks on it. It’s easier for ur eyes at night

I’ve read on my iPad and really enjoyed it but I wanted a kindle for a couple reasons; battery life, screen is better for eyes and I don’t get distracted by other apps. There’re cheaper kindles though if you’re interested (6 inch kindle and even a kids kindle.)

The e-ink devices are kinder on the eyes because they’re almost like paper. The light shines from the sides, and not directly into your face like a tablet. You can also turn the light off, and still read like normal. In my experience I can read for hours on a Kindle without getting eyestrain.
