Kindle Voyage in 2023 - Are E-Readers Worth It?

My Kindle Voyage is turning 10 next year. How's it holding up, and is a dedicated e-reader really worth it?

I have a voyage too. Just replaced the battery and it’s like new now. I have a paper white as well but still find myself enjoying the form factor of the voyage better. Would be nice if Amazon would go back to the voyage but not holding my breath.

Great short video! I own an old Kindle that i bought used on eBay for like $20. I've had it a few years now, and I've probably read 7 or 8 books on it so far. I'm thinking of upgrading to a more recent Kindle simply because i want everything i own to be charged via USB-C. Also i want to convert my old Kindle into a Bitcoin price ticker for my desk.

Great video. I didn't realise my Voyage was 10 years old until I came across the receipt from 2014. The screen size is perfect, as is the weight and the quality of the display. I would be mortified if I had to replace it 😥. It's nice to know there are others who feel the same 👍

I never used a kindle voyage, but I really love my kindle basic, it's 6 inches, usb-c and 300ppi.

Love my Voyage I tried the paperwhite and it's not the same to heavy and do not like the screen. I was wondering how the basic kindle would be

Hi I recently bought one on ebay, should arrive by Monday, can't wait to have it on my hands 🤤. May I ask Does it support epub files? I've seen in other older reviews it only supports mobi files. Thank you

The Voyage only supports Mobi files. There is a free program called “Calibre” that converts epub to mobi. I use it to convert all of my books for my Kindle.
