This game is not what it seems...
Inspired by creepy/bad edutainment games from the 90s (Sonic's Schoolhouse, I.M. Meen, 3D Dinosaur Adventure: Save the Dinosaurs), this game starts out seemingly innocent enough, but it quickly becomes clear that this isn't edutainment. Collect all 7 of the notebooks and escape the school, all while avoiding Baldi. Baldi has many friends in the school that will slow down your progress and put you at risk of being caught, so learn how each character works and how you can avoid their attention. Find and use items to your advantage. Oh, and finally, try not to get the quiz answers wrong... Each wrong answer makes Baldi angrier...

Theory: Null is actually mystman12 who was trapped into the game as soon as he started testing it out, and he crashes the game so he doesn't feel the pain of being corrupted so that's why he keeps ending the game, and once player beat him, he discovered his whole word is a lie so he became miserable at the end. And now, player is the only one who can see through the fourth wall.

The entire of purpose of Null's rampage was to get you to stop playing before something bad happens to you because he probably played the game and Baldi trapped HIM inside the game, and he's trying to prevent it from happening to YOU, so killing him in the boss battle means that he's no longer there to stop Baldi from doing it to you. He's trying to use harsh language to get you to stop playing, but everything he does doesn't work, because you keep taking it as a rude response and go against him, and because of his glitchiness, he can't speak, and he's trying to say everything he can to get the message but his voice glitches too frequently so that he can't, or Baldi is on the other end forcing the glitch to block out the words that say anything bad about the game.

Null's name represents "Unknown" or "None" or "Zero" and defines a corrupted computer file that even though it is presumably deleted, it still has the strength to be opened and used again. Filename2 represents 'Filename' being a computer file that has been corrupted. So theoryitcally, Filename2 is or was Mystman12's second file. But if that is the case, it means Mystman12 purposely corrupted his second file. And Null is angry because in Baldi"s Basics Classic secret ending, Null tells you to destroy the game. Again in Birthday Bash secret ending and now, he is so mad that at this point, he is going to close the game with brute force.

theory: null got created when mystman12 was trying to make the principal but then he mistakenly accidentally make principal of the thing have red shirt and blue pants but then when he tested the game out he saw that he accidentally make NULL and he was too lazy to delete NULL so he just make him a real baldi’s basics character

Fun Fact: When you collect the last notebook, Baldi is actually interrupted by Null screaming "GET OUT WHILE YOU STILL CAN!"" You can hear his glitching. He also says this at a certain moment you see him. Also, in the second last phase, he isn't meant to go that fast, you probably removed the delay accidentally.

In a secret ending, null screams “LOOK WHAT YOUVE *glitches* DONE” this is caused by the player messing up the pattern of how they get to the secret ending. He then captures you while the corrupt baldis walk around deleting the walls. As null deletes you, the walls that are left start to shake vigorously and you then get booted out of the game.
