Some people can get lost in grief. I do believe that the husband knows his wife and wants to prevent this from happening to her

Agree, but grief affects people in different ways. When my previous dog passed away, the kids were so upset, I said we would never get a other. After seven months the we all decided it was time to get another. He will turn three next month. I think getting another dog after yours has passed, should be a family decision, not that of one member.

As somebody who knows the joys of dog ownership and also the sadness when you loose them, have to question the wisdom of giving a pup to some one who has recently lost a dog, in some of these videos only days before. Are you really ready to care for another dog so soon.
