@@charlieman1682 22:20 - opponent is at 1 mana. As it turns out, opponent had a Moonsilver to protect from the Single Combat, but it was one of the few moments where opponent wouldn't have multiple outs as opposed to exactly one. I think you Single Combat every time there.

@@goflb92 definitely. The only thing they could do is moonsilver into pale cascade, but by turn 4 you need to be taking risks to remove zoe. I usually let zoe get to 6-7 cards before taking her out but veiled temple is too scary. Also why no crumble in this deck? For 5 mana he could knock out a veiled temple and mark zoe for slay, or just take her out without spellshield. An SI deck relying on striking for removal seems off

@@kinomasaka796 Crumble is, in my personal experience, a card that seems theoretically really good in an Undying deck, but doesn't always play that well. It's only better than Single Combat or Concerted Strike if it targets a landmark, otherwise it's basically a slow speed concerted strike that also kills your guy. Not every deck runs landmarks, and I think none run any that makes a 5-mana answer justifiable. Even if you kill a Temple immediately, you're 1 mana down, and that's the best case scenario I can think of. The "kill your own guy" seems like an upside sometimes in an SI Kindred deck, but the thing is that slow speed is really bad for removal. There are so many cases where you want to cast a spell in response to something happening: a combat trick, an opponent killing one of your creatures so SC gets some value, an opponent using Atrocity for lethal (which you might counter by Concerted Strike), etc. etc. The fact that it can also be fizzled by having your creature killed in turn makes it too costly for 5 mana slow in my opinion.

@@goflb92 those are all completely valid downsides to the card, but I think youre underselling the versatility. There are a lot of landmarks worth removing (temple, scar grounds, plaza) and you can remove them from turn 3. It sacrifices less tempo than vengeance, activates mark, progresses nasus, trades into deny better, and for this SI deck w low stat units it doesnt get countered by stat buffs the way SC and CS were countered multiple times in this vid. Being slow does hurt it a lot, but only costing 5 mana while also getting 2 slays going makes it a lot easier to set up. They also either need deny, or to spend removal on cannon fodder. Decent trade imo.

Love seeing the undying! There's only so many really competitive decks in any meta and some are super obvious. I'm sure quite a few people came up with Lissandra Trundle and later adopted or developed something more or less resembling what is currently being played.

Have you tried a Kindred/Anivia deck yet? It is absolutely brutal, as Anivia is extremely effective in cutting down wide boards, while Kindred is best against tall threats. The best thing is, Anivia's board attack kills all their small things in one hit, so all the weak things dies and they don't have a chance to play a new chump to get hit by Kindred's ability. In particular, Kindred's Spirit Journey is really cool with Anivia, as it kills her, summons an egg, and then revives a copy, effectively copying her and saving her from an obliterate/silence effect.

I think the hilarious thing about the game against the Deep deck is that, even if the opponent's last desperate pull HAD managed to pull a Vile Feast or Unspeakable Horror to let him survive the Atrocity on 1 life, it wouldn't have mattered anyway because _he'd decked himself_ and would lose at the start of the next turn, no matter what.

Hey, could you try making an azir and miss fortune deck? Using emporers dais or sandswept tomb makes more attackers which levels up both champs and I just think it's a pretty fun deck. I don't really know what to add to it so I would love to see what you come up with for it.

Yesterday, I used Kindred's hero spell defensively. Renekton came at me to finish me off and that was the time I understand I can use it on the opponent champion, too. The attack stopped, I was saved and Nasus was full of pity for his brother.

I tried this deck w 3x grand plaza instead of concerted strike and one single combat. Imo it's better. Huge synergy w undying (if u can kill him every turn) + synergy w other stuff u want to get killed. Also gives some defense.

Games lengths are in two types 1. Leblance- 30mins = 6 games 2. Kindred - 3games = 50mins

I'm kinda surprised that The Grand Plaza isn't in this list since it synergizes so well with the Undying. If you don't draw Spirit Leech your curve could even be 2 drop, 3 & 4 either Plaza or Undying depending on attack token, then have 2 spell mana banked for turn 5.

Hey Mogwai! I was thinking if you were interested in building a deck with Kindred/Ashe. Thinking about it, Ashe curves into kindred ideally and with frost bites you can pick off all of the opponents strongest enemies. I would love to build it myself, but I am insanely bad at making decks, so I thought I'd give you an idea :D

Potential misplay to watch out for at 26:39 (assuming you didnt want to bluff single combat on the 5/4 or something) You probably should have used the chronicler of ruin on the 5/4 undying instead of the silenced 2/2 because while killing the 2/2 "unsilences" it, killing the 5/4 accomplishes the same thing in giving you an extra undying while also pumping up the 5/4 and leaving you with an extra 2/2 body that can block because it no longer has cant block from the silence

Out of curiousity, why didn't you just pop the 5 mana aoe at 26:20 ? It'd take away zoe's spell shield and he most likely didn't have another deny for it, then you could simply ruination

He expected a withering wail, so the opponent would be at 19 HP. He never wants to block an Undying, so he attacks always right for more dmg without combattricks.
