More overwrought, pretentious drivel from yet another overrated director. Christopher Nolan is not a genius -- from what I saw of Inception, stilted dialogue and CGI effects, big deal. As for this, first of all, like Poor Things, it's a poor choice of title. Remaking Sweet Dreams is cardinal sin against pop culture -- not forgivable. Willem Dafoe is too old to be acting, and as for the swerving car etc, um, Madonna already did in that in her video for What It Feels Like for a Girl. And four minutes of that dish is all anyone needs. Pass the salt.
