Cheers fella. So many good ones indeed and the smaller pros and cons makes more of a difference these days.

There are actually green and red LEDs inside the dongle, in the dark you can see the light coming out through the gaps in the buttons and the USBC input😅. Nice little neutral to Bright ish dongle!

I had no idea as I was using it in a well lit room. Thanks for the information!

If you choose digital output to the dongle, from your Linux, you will get better sound, you will only hear the dongle, analog output already goes through the dac or renderer in your computer

Interesting, how can a DAC get analog output?
@VortexReviews1Ай бұрын
Cheers for the info as I did not know that.
@wahid-lg1kkАй бұрын
@@Helmond2017 my shanling m1s has a selection for digital output, your machine either has it or does not. Most computers do, however.

@@wahid-lg1kk oh thanks for the info. I don't have a dap so I couldn't understand it.

Does it default to low gain mode? Will it remember the volume and gain settings when unplugged?
@VortexReviews1Ай бұрын
Defaults to high gain and max volume on the first use. It seems to remember per device so when you change device then it doesn't remember and is max again in my experience.

Is SMSL D10 worth the extra cost over FiiO KA11 if I'm only going to use 3.5?
@wahid-lg1kkАй бұрын
If you want my opinion, no. Get Ka11, it's better then it should be at the price.
@VortexReviews1Ай бұрын
KA11 is better value but D10 is more powerful ands has actual volume controls.
@wahid-lg1kkАй бұрын
@@VortexReviews1 I like it for the reason it doesn't have volume controls, no conflict with my shanling m1s, which gets confused, and it matches my PRX better then anything, makes it jump
