The sound quality is pretty good. Hell, it's better than a lot of other headphone mics I've heard, so seems like it would be pretty good for gaming or calls.

I have it since release and recently it broke down on me. Well not really, the microphone needs to be at the twisted a certain way for it to work. While the sound quality is great, but the QC is something left to be desired. I'd spend more for better QC

@@O_ORose sadly didn't buy it yet cause i don't really had time and space to play vr games and in meantime meta made an update to mic quallity on quest 3 and i had other problems that i don't really wanna share on

what would be your choice for an IEM mic? Like the mute switch a lot, and honestly the quality is pretty good compared to the 3 or 4 other mics I have came across, but you say there are better. You have me wondering.

My choice right now is the gramr, just to get that out of the way. But after seeing that mute switch and hearing these I may change my mind.

need help, i recently bought this the microphone doesnt work, the buttons doesnt work, even the mute button won't work. plugged it to my laptop, plugged it to my phone, same deal. i think this product is ass or i was sent a bad one

Hi there ! Live your videos! How would you compare this mic to the Kimura or Kinera Gramr mic ? Or any other preferences ?

Gramr has by far the best audio quality, however, the build quality is not great and a lot of people report issues with it becoming loose.

@@BlackLightningBird I bought the Ruyi but returned it. Mic quality is not good compared to traditional headsets (coming from Steelseries 7) The Gramr might be better, but i still think below the level I want... Think I'm gonna wait a little longer for an better alternative to these current iem mics. I now bought a standalone mic (Fifine am8 👌)

any idea why when connected to an IEM it's not recognized by my settings? iems work fine but the mic isnt being picked up.

Depends on the port usually. Some ports don't support both mic and headphones and only support headphones, where as for mics, it'll be a different port. Not all headphone jacks are headset jacks basically. Other times, it depends on the poles of the cable's connector itself, which as basically the stripes on the end having been wired differently, then requiring an adapter.

Not really no, but often times I find muffling means you could be talking into the wrong hole of the mic

build quality isnt great tbh, i returned mine and got the gramr instead waiting for that to arrive.

@@hadan8827 read a review about this, someone ownded both gramr and ruyi and he suggested to just buy ruyi cause the build quality is better.
