Do you find the bone conduction transforms the experience at all?
@Atechreviews10 ай бұрын
@yeeeeeeeeteleeeet Absolutely! Bone conduction indeed transforms the audio experience. It changes how you experience audio because of how clear and natural it sounds. The sound might be a bit different from what you're used to, though, because of how it's delivered. It's more "in your head" and not coming from your ears. It is a step up from traditional drivers for sure. It is surprising at first, the way you experience it, but after a few minutes, I began to appreciate how clean and natural it sounded.

I wander if you can get a hold of Thieaudio Prestiege LTD - seems like same driver config, people love it and similar pricing. I am currently leaning towards the Dunu because of metal build and better cable and good sound (at least from you and from others who already bought it).
@Atechreviews10 ай бұрын
I've heard great things about the Thieaudio Prestige LTD too. Both it and the DUNU seem to offer awesome sound and build quality, and they're priced similarly with similar driver setups. The DUNU Glacier is a bit easier to drive and has an MMCX connector. If more people are into it, I might check it out next month. I think the DUNU Glacier has higher quality build, better cable, and flawless sound. What else could be improved? I'm pretty curious myself.

@@Atechreviews thanks for quick reply, yeah I am currently leaning towards it. I tried few high-end iems but I want to settle for this price region because I didn't get much when I paid much more.

@@Devilishishish You are welcome. I have experience listening to and owning several high-end in-ear monitors (IEMs), and I can confidently say that if I were limited to just the Glacier as my sole IEM, I would be completely satisfied. In terms of build quality, cable, bass response, detail, and overall sound quality, I find the Glacier to be flawless. This level of satisfaction is not something I can attribute to other high-end IEMs.

I have bought the Tanchjim origin after i watched your review about it, how it stand out to the IEMS in this review. like is there huge gap regarding to the technical performance . i know there should be difference of course, the price different is big, but what do you think is the different ?
@Atechreviews10 ай бұрын
Hey there, @alitutuncu391! I'm glad to hear you picked up the Tanchjim Origin after watching the review. How are you finding it? In terms of technical performance, the Tanchjim Origin does stand out, especially considering its price point. While there are differences compared to higher-end IEMs, the Origin still offers excellent sound quality and value for its price. The difference between excellent IEMs like the Tanchjim Origin and state-of-the-art IEMs like the DUNU Glacier (aside from the tuning) is the resolving ability. Higher-end IEMs tend to have a more refined, realistic, and nuanced sound, with better separation between instruments and more precise imaging. You'll notice differences in areas like soundstage, imaging, and detail retrieval. For example, the bass could be the same but more detailed. You'll hear the strum of the guitar strings with greater accuracy, and vocals sound realistic and separated from the mix. Another thing I notice is that IEMs that use Sonion EST drivers have this ethereal, airy treble that you can't find in other IEMs. I use the Tanchjim Origin daily with the Glacier, and while I do notice the difference, the Tanchjim Origin holds its own and provides a very enjoyable listening experience, especially considering its affordability. The Origin is like a brand new BMW, while the Glacier is like a Rolls-Royce. By the way, the logo is almost done.

Nice review, thanks for sharing. Choosing between this two and unique mest mk2. I love kinara's tuning ( at now my favourite is nanna 2.1 ) , is not fatigue you when you're a long time listening. What about all day use glaciers, steel is very heavy compared to resin or plastic?
@Atechreviews7 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! The Glacier weighs 17.5 grams, made of steel, so it is definitely heavier than those made of resin or plastic. However, it is still designed to be comfortable for extended use. When I hold it in my hand, it feels heavier than most IEMs I have. I notice the weight when carrying them in my bag. However, when I wear them in my ears, I can't feel them at all because the weight is distributed inside my ears and not outside. I use them for a few continuous hours every day, walking with them, and they stay put in my ear without moving. So, they are comfortable for all-day listening for me.
@andmetoo7 ай бұрын
@Atechreviews glacier in ears really doesn't feels like a heavy iems. Sound is a bit dark comapred to nannas, bassy, i like it. Especially build quality, is on hole new level in this industry 😮
@Atechreviews7 ай бұрын
@@andmetoo Yeah, they don't feel heavy at all. To me, they don't sound dark either. In fact, the sound is very clean and clear. As you mentioned, it has excellent bass, much more than the Nanna, with the bass well-separated from the other frequencies. The Glacier has a Harman neutral tuning with a bit of a sub-bass and mid-bass boost. I agree, it's on a whole new level.

@@Atechreviews The Kinera nannas is probably one of the most underrated headphones out there. No matter how many headphones I use, I never take them off the table. Glaciers really good, my new daily drivers with ibasso dx260

Do you happen to know the dunu's nozzle width?? I think 6.5 mm on the kinera is way to big. Anyway, great review!!
@Atechreviews8 ай бұрын
Thanks! The DUNU Glacier has a 6.6mm nozzle width, similar to the Verdandi. But, it's surprisingly comfy and ergonomic. It stays put in my ear, creating a great seal. Even with medium ear tips (I usually use XL), it fits perfectly. Don't worry about the nozzle width, the Glacier's design is different. Glad you liked the review!
@SethiBybel8 ай бұрын
@@Atechreviews so they're bigger haha. But, ok I haven't seen anyone complain too much about comfort. I guess is more dependent on tip size. Thanks for letting me know. Have a great weekend!
