7:30 that makes sense , u can calculate it assuming ("a=g") , so like at point "A" it has "V0=0" and just calculate "Vf" (V finale) using "Vf*2=V0*2+2ad" and u will get something like this "KE=4898.45J=4900J", it makes sense

2:47 why do we ignore the constant (1/2) when doubling the speed or mass to findout the change it does to kinetic energy? Thanks

A bit tricky bro. But just observe properly that it does not matter what the constant is, let's say it was 'a' instead of (1/2). The same number will be multiplied anyhow to any constant after doubling the mass or velocity.

There is only kinetic energy. One time it is easy to detect (external), while if we regard it as potential it really just is internal kinetic energy.
