Aaww yeah kicking some Great Jagras ass!! :D One great tip is to buy the Powercharm and Armorcharm from the Provisions vendor, so that you get a passive boost to both attack and defense while you have them in your pouch (not using them).

I seperate my characters by heavy weapons (greatsword/hammer gunlance) light (dual blades etc) and ranged so that way i have 3 characters for replay value.

with armor progession i went from beginner to Hunter to anjanath to paluma and then to this ice bitch with L just cant remember its name after that (to diablos or to Odogaron , or the otherway, whatever comes first in the story line already over 40 Defense ) then i got to highrank where i went Full Zora alpha and got the zora weapon to boost my exploding shit skill. Then i killed Devil jho and got his weapon and some parts of his armor after that i took on Bazel and got some more parts and now i'm using mostly Nergi some uragaan and one dragon thing.

GS & Hammer is all I need even w/ fast monsters e.g. T. Odagaron. Don't like DS & LS mainly due to the players that use them as they often knock you off your combos.

If you want a deep cinematic story experience, go with DAI. For a lot of fun and challenging fights that you can do solo or in groups, go with MHW. Hope that helps :)

Unlocked automatically once you reach a certain point in the game. Sorry for not clarifying that.

After defeating Diablo in a quest leads to another battle with the the elder dragon then finding a pukei in the desert that's when high rankings start coming in
