my dude get the offset shears, the ones with the really fat bottom blade, and get a set of red and green (left and right). they both can cut straight so the yellows are kinda useless. i do sheet metal in hvac, those ones you have are a pain in the ass to cut in tight spots like that. sweet setup though, im looking to set my truck up exactly the same.

Ya mistakes were made, next truck will be Dirtkings, but next will be Camburgs long travel kit so I don’t have to change Coilovers again.

I have a 2010 Silverado with a pro comp 6 inch lift and my coils and rear piggybacks came in should I remove my bump stops?

I’m not sure if you have to, but it’s not a big problem if you do.

Nice video brah. I have a question; I had seen you had strut spacers on your stock shocks which you had removed for installing the king shocks. Did the king shocks increase the ride height? If yes, how much did it increase?

They increase the ride height 3” over stock same as a level Kit would.

Have you had any issues with cutting out the uca bump stops? Iv heard mixed reviews on doing so

i have had no issues so far, and its the only way you can fit in the King's on the truck. but i absolutely love the upgrade and its been a great ride and handles bumps really well!

@@CaswellCustoms with cutting those out arnt you now bottoming out on the shock instead of the physical UCA travel stop at full droop? I'm wanting to so the same thing but I just dont want to deal with setting up a limit strap.

I want these shocks so bad for my 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 but man that's alot of cash to drop on only a pair of front shocks. But I do hate the ride of my stock Z71 Sierra. Its stiff. I'm currently running the Bilstein 5100 shocks and they were def even stiffer over the stock Rancho shocks. I would never recommend the Bilstein's unless you have at least a 2500 series truck.

They’re expensive but you absolutely get what you pay for! It all depends on what your goal for your truck is.

@@richr909 ya if you’re just looking for a smoother road ride I’d go with the less expensive 2.5 coilover and there are some quality brands that aren’t as expensive as King. @@CaswellCustoms Can confirm the 2.5 work very well on and off road. Have used them for years in the SoCal deserts as well as bombed out roads of SoCal in a 13 Silverado 1500. Upgrading now to the 3.0s fr-rr with upper arms and rear Bumpstops..

Federico Mandujano it’s the diameter of the shock and the performance increase you get with a large capacity.

Did you have and problems with cv shafts set at 3”. I have Fox coil overs set at 2”, thinking about putting some Dirt King upper control arms and going to 3” but don’t want to destroy cv shafts.

I blew out a CV axle doing donuts in a rutted out field, but had had an issue until then and I’ve ran them pretty hard so I think it was more the circumstances. You should be good going to 3”

@@CaswellCustoms lol yea doing that you lucky to break one. Is that truck your daily driver? I don’t wheel like you do. Just forest service roads. More overlanding stuff. I used to have a Tahoe on 38” boggers. It doesn’t take long to kill a 10bolt. My cv axles held up on it but it wasn’t my DD and I ran flat angles with a 6” superlift and 3” body.
