This was their third and last major hit in the UK,all of them coming in 1985. The other two were the brilliant Love and Pride near the start of that year and Alone Without You at the tail end of the summer. So yes they did burn very brightly but were soon gone from the limelight.

Paul King was not Really that (Flamboyant & Kinda Weird), like Say Morrissey from the Smiths, Came across as. However, that's how these two Front Men differed, for Example. Shame that King never lasted that long, as they were Very Talented!. Probably one of the Most Underrated Bands, of the 80s.😢

Good old Paul King, I was just a kid when this brilliant tune was release and I remember when I was watching this on MUSIC BOX in the middle of the 80's....This is now classic tune, those time would never come back unfortunately. Now we have internet, facebook, you tube etc......but musicians and people lost their souls. Nowdays nobody can written good romantic songs like this one :-(

I had the Hits 3 Album on vinyl and I think this song was played the most! If I remember rightly the song after it was Red Box - Lean on Me. I can vaguely remember the intro but then I'd put the needle back onto this 😁. Those good old days ❤

I went to Let's Rock Bristol 5-8 June and played an 80s compliation CD on the way down and this song was on it. I can honestly say, I hadn't heard it in nearly 30 years. It's actually a better song than "Love and Pride". It's just so infectious. What a cracking rediscovered 80s classic!!!
