King Charles arrives in Edinburgh |The Scottish Parliament's 25th anniversary

King Charles arrives in Edinburgh, Scotland for the 25th Anniversary of the opening of the Scottish Parliament today. He waves to the crowd twice as he walks from the helicopter to the Palace of Holyrood. The queen gets in the car.
Park Rangers do a FOD walk before the King's helicopter arrives. This is to make sure the area is clear of 'Foreign Objects' which may be sucked into the helicopter engines causing "Foreign Object Damage" (FOD).
A Park Ranger directs the helicopter in to a landing spot.

Yes it’s fully acceptable on the French Turbomeca engines, which this S76 has…. The early S76A model with the Allison C30 engines had the dreaded two minute cool down limitation, though with the rotor brake you could stop the rotors and leave the engines running at ground idle. The French engined S76 is all round much better though, more power, and most of all more reliable than the earlier aircraft.

I love helicopters and see the need for him to use one but see he only cares about the environment as long as it doesn’t effect him and his travels but the common person be damned.
