King Charles Attends Special Gala Performance at Royal Opera House

The King attended a special gala performance at the Royal Opera House in tribute to it's outgoing musical director Sir Antonio Pappano.
His Majesty met with Sir Antonio and other performers during his visit to the historic venue in Covent Garden.

So many wonderful memories of young Prince Charles sitting in the Royal Box with his grandmother, the Queen Mother, in the Royal Opera House, many years ago. He has always been a hero of mine through his love of the Natural world too, and given me a lot of courage. So so happy to see him, now King, and seemingly doing well after his cancer treatment, back at the Opera House ! I have lived in France for over 50 years, but feel so proud of our Royal Family, and all they stand for ! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

What a great and amazing person King Charles is! A knowledgeable and complimentary word for each person he shakes hands with. He jokes, makes eye contact and manages to make each person relax and smile. May he reign for many years in good health and happiness. Oh my gosh you WILL love it, pardon me if I’m being preachy, maybe your are already familiar with opera music but if this is your first time, I highly recommend look up the play, whatever opera you are attending if you know the storyline and the lyrics (often it’s in Italian) but if you know the lyrics in advance and you know the storyline and arias (what each performance is going to be singing) it’s sooo much more interesting, you are going to feel like you are witnessing fairy tale live action. It’s magnificent, nourishing to the soul. Be warned, you’re going to get addicted 😂 and become oh so posh 🥰
